DEW-SCENTED are no more! All good things must come to an end... And it's now been 26 (!) intense years of sacrifices for the thrash metal cause for us. Despite numerous setbacks, DEW-SCENTED never split up or even stopped for any significant amount of time. We were always blessed with great opportunities and a strong will to soldier onwards. All in all, we have had an amazing ride with this music we love and not only played countless great shows across the globe, but released ten (!) albums and most importantly, we made tons of life-long friendships along the way because of the band. But it's time to realize that we won't be able to forge ahead much further because DEW-SCENTED just won't work without complete and constant dedication. And giving such a full-time commitment simply isn't possible anymore because of how life otherwise evolved throughout the years. Having acknowledged that fact, we feel it's best to wrap the band up in a proper way, with a purely positive feeling. To go on our own terms and with the best possible "conceptual end" (like the song on "Issue VI", haha!), instead of leaving our destiny to chance or someone else’s actions. DEW-SCENTED will therefore perform a last run of shows in the coming months and then have a very last special show in the group’s hometown Walsrode in Northern Germany on Saturday, October 6th, 2018 to celebrate the band's legacy in style one last time. Who knows, maybe we still manage to add some more last minute date(s) for the rest of the summer, but after October 6th, there will be no more frontline activities for DEW-SCENTED, no planned concerts and no further recordings. We would like to thank everyone who has encountered, enjoyed or supported DEW-SCENTED at some point and in some way throughout the years. Basically to all of you reading this here! Professionally, we would like to thank our record company Metal Blade as well as our previous partners at Prosthetic, Nuclear Blast, Grind Syndicate, Steamhammer/SPV and all their affiliated licensing associates for releasing and promoting our music. Also thanks and cheers to all our former members or session players, our buddies in other bands, media outlets, publishing partners, booking agents and the local promoters who got involved with us in some capacity. We will hopefully continue seeing you around in one way or another again! Don't forget that the music is out there and will forever remain available for all of us, especially if we keep supporting the scene and the young, talented bands out there! Ne pomenusmo još jednu dilemu, kako tagovati album, Riot ili Riot V?
Vidim niko nije stigao da prokomentariše Sancimonious pa da kažem koju reč pošto ga ovih dana baš dosta slušam. Izdanje je dobilo u Deaf Forever magazinu nagradu za najbolji dizajn 2017 što je možda malo smešno ovako kad se pročita ali disk je zaista prelepo odrađen sa ilustracijama za svaku pesmu i mapom manastira, pazi kad se ja ne bunim a digipak je u pitanju To su neke male slatke stvari koje bar meni znaju da podignu ocenu finalnog proizvoda. Treba reći da je album konceptualni o sranju koje je izbilo u ženskom manastiru, zanimljivo je da je prvi album bio bez priče a drugi ima koncept, tako se u karijeri isto desilo jednom malko poznatijem Dancu. A što se tiče muzike, to je taj stari Mercyful Fate-King Diamond fazon ali momčad su vešto uplela u svoj zvuk black metal hladne melodije i kratke akustične pasaže koji znaju da podsete na Dissection, a takav pristup meni vuče i na Portrait albume. Sad ide ona standardna priča o svom zvuku ali što se mene tiče originality be damned, kad mi ovako nešto lepo zamiriše na Kinga nema šanse da odolim. Evo već 11.godina teče kako ništa od njega novo ne dobijam, pišem mu i nadam se ali se ne javlja tako da mi ovakva izdanja dolaze kao melem na ljutu ranu. Doduše ipak treba da ima tu nekog kvaliteta, npr Them je kopija Kinga pa su mi smešni ali Attic poseduje dozu dobrote koja meni odgovara. U nadi da se neko opet zajebe da ih dovede jer sam propustio nažalost prvi put, preslušajte Sanctimonious.

Meni je ovo prava stvar, oni furaju epic zvuk što sa Immortal što i Abbath i Demonas solo već decenijama i nema tu više šta da se kaže preterano, sad kad je Abbath postao cirkuzant (jebe mater uživo doduše, I will give him that) ima prostora da se zauzme tron leda. Samo se nadam da će ceo album biti ovako dobar.
Mislim da polako hvatamo konce Thundersteel bonus zavere.
Pa prosli i ovaj bonus lajv i ovaj rerecord. I Luka je imao Thundersteel obradu na zadnjem albumu #justsayin'
U redu je gospodine, moja teorija da se Thundersteel 2x pojavljuje na albumu kao bonus stoji, ne ruši mi sneška sad i ne tehnikališi.
Novi Varathron https://yadi.sk/d/S1StcjCM3UoBd8 Ovo će bez premca biti najbolji album ove godine za ovu temu i ogromno iznenađenje, meni se nije ništa svidelo od njih još od devedesetih. Ovo je pravi povratak na slavni helenski stil kog su oni između ostalog i bili stvoritelji, perfektan vajb.
