Album je ok, kao i poslednji Phrenelith, ali nista nije ni prineti novom Ensnared-u (pricam samo o Dark Descent izdanjima).

Ne secam se tacno kad, kako i zasto, ali znam da me je u poslednjih nekoliko meseci neki link usmerio ka Grav profilu na Arhivama. Verovatno je na nekom forumu neko lepo pricao o bendu. U svakom slucaju, cim sam video sliku "autora" i da je bend izbacio dva albuma u 2017. momentalno sam ugasio tab, vodjen istom predrasudom o hiperprodukciji i utiskom da taj Sir N. izgleda kao da je poremecen. Hvala ti sto si se bar ti potrudio da poslusas sve ovo, jer su i Grav i Draug i Hädanfärd komotno W.T.C./Daemon Worship kalibar izdanja. Sticajem okolnosti, kad god setam gradom ovih dana, ovaj album je prvi kandidat za slusanje na slusalicama, upravo zbog cistine i jacine zvuka koja uspeva da odoli background noise-u gradske vreve, za razliku od 95% albuma cije manje savrsene produkcije samo doprinose opstoj kakofoniji - a pritom su mi i telefon i slusalice vrlo solidnog kvaliteta. Bilo kako bilo, posto ja volim Testament i oduvek sam ih voleo, i posto su prve dve original kasete koje je doneo komsija iz Nemacke kad sam bio u cetvrtom razredu osnovne (sad imam 36 godina) bile The Ritual i Practice What You Preach, neki od rifova i apsolutno svaki jebeni solo i tercirani lead na ovom albumu me nepogresivo bacaju u isti sevdah u koji su me onomad bacala ta dva albuma. Kad smo kod toga, secam se razgovora dvojice mojih ortaka koji sjajno opisuje kako se osecam povodom ovog albuma - elem, jedan od njih je ovom drugom, koji je matori roker relativno straight-forward ukusa, hvalio gomilu anonimnih indie bendova koji su krenuli da nicu na sve strane posle uspeha albuma "Is This It" od The Strokes, a ovaj mu je, posle pola sata, kada ga je vec zabolela glava od slusanja bezbrojnih semplova, rekao sledece: "Slusaj, ja bih sad odmah menjao tu kompletnu scenu za jedan solo Marka Knopflera". E, tako se i ja nekako osecam povodom Petersona, meni je njegov signature sound apsolutni pojam estetskog savrsenstva thrash metal soliranja, bolji mi je jedan njegov solo nego kopletna ovogodisnja thrash metal produkcija - Vektor excluded, jer je Terminal Redux i dalje verovatno najbolji thrash metal album od 2000 na ovamo.

Oni su uvek bili jedan od onih ozbiljnih, matorih bendova koje nikad nisam seo da ljudski preslusam - verovatno svako od vas ima po neki takav bend. Sto je najgore, par puta sam bio u posedu nekih njihovih originalnih izdanja (V: Hävitetty i Varjoina kuljemme kuolleiden maassa), ali sam ih odmah trejdovao, ne znam zasto. Sramota me je da priznam, ali onomad kad je Century Media poslala Jumalten aika, mislim da sam posle par dana obrisao album s harda bez da sam ga ijednom pustio. That being said, sad kad vidim da ga ovde hvale relevantna forumska gospoda, i nacin na koji ga hvale, dobrano sam se motivisao da se iskupim za svoju ignoranciju. Retko sam raspolozen da radim ovakve stvari, jer je uvek previse kurentne muzike u rotaciji da bi covek ubacivao i diskografske retrospektive ovog tipa, ali sad sam nesto u tom raspolozenju. Pocecu od ovih vasih goosebumps momenta...

Meni su ovo dva dobra momenta: TTI: I remember when Hades Rise by Aura Noir came out, Fenriz said he thought that was the best album he heard in years. In hindsight, I feel the same, that is by far my favorite Aura Noir album as well. Which one is yours? Josh Bennett: I have the album Black Thrash Attack. I’m not overly familiar with a lot of their stuff, but that one is a great album. I will also comment that the whole Fenriz approved thing that goes on is really silly. TTI: Vektor made quite a stir in the underground with their latest effort Terminal Redux and there are so many people who already consider that album to be the thrash metal highlight of 2016, regardless of what else may come out until the end of the year.
