Austrian blackened death metal outfit BELPHEGOR are in the final stages of the writing process for their as-yet-untitled new album. The follow-up to 2008's "Bondage Goat Zombie" is tentatively scheduled for release in the fall via Nuclear Blast Records.

 

Commented vocalist/guitarist Helmuth: "Yes brothers and sisters, currently we're working on nine new sound collages. We started writing in April 2008 after the 'Bondage Goat Zombie' release to create the new compositions for the eighth werk! The songs are basically completely finished and words can't really describe how enthusiastic and motivated we are to get into the studio and record this monster! It feels great to be creative again. Nefastus will be responsible for the drums on the new album. He is an old friend to the BELPHEGOR family and has also blasted on our previous opus 'Pestapokalypse VI'. We rehearse day and night since December to make it as tight and monumental as possible. Stay tuned demons, hell awaits!!!"

RECORDING UPDATE FROM THE STAGE ONE STUDIOS PT. II

 

Demons are you ready for the next chapter? After two weeks of being in the studio, working very intensely, here is another update.

 

 

Helmuth states about the progress: "Hi all, just returned from the 2nd studio session, completed all rhythm guitars and Serpenth laid down the bass lines.

 

The nine sound collages started to show their grim face and i can say we..re pretty damn pleased, totally blown away by the evil atmosphere.

 

All sound more epic than ever, with lots of cold, haunting melodies, we also added a lot of new elements/ structures to our sound.

THE MASTERPLAN: HEXENWAHN - TOTENKULT!

 

As opposed to previous tales of the inquisition, this focuses upon the darker, more dismal magics of the mighty, powerful witches who conjure and worship demons. Those who have a pact with the forces of hell through the occult. The concept deals with demonology, witchcraft/ Hexenwahn, depraved suKKubi, blackest erotica, and as always, the grand devil, himself.

 

 

"Well, these days we rehearse for the Scandinavian tour till Thursday, then we fly over to Estonia/ Tallinn where the Einmarsch kicks off. There are a lot shows in countries where we never had the chance to shred, we are looking forward to this tour, see ya soon,"....added Serpenth.

Pa on nije ni trebao da lupa bubnjeve na albumu. Treba isi onaj koji je i Pestapcalypse.

Ne, trebao je on, pa kad mu se ovo desilo, zvali su tog sa Pestapocalypse.

Vidis da kaze da je morao da otkaze snimanje novog albuma.

Vidi stvarno. U bre, a znas mozda sta je toe? Da ne moram da zovem Groba da ga pitam.
