A sada kladionica, koliko godina do Time II?

Album je spreman, ali ce izaci tek krajem sledece godine iz "marketinskih" razloga

Joj... Sinoć vidio album, stavio da se skida i sad jedva čekam da dođem kući da poslušam.

E, vrijedilo je čekati. Album je stvarno dobar, samo da je duži. Ali tako ti je to. Muzička industrija treba da zaradi para pa će ga pustiti u dva dijela.

Previse ovo napucano, epikovano i bombasticno za mene. K'o novi Betmen, kada te prodje utisak od melodrame, efekata, skale svega, trt-mrt...razmislis i skapiras da ispod toga nema nista. Ko je u fazonu style over substance, kapiram sto mu se svidja ovo. Meni generalno i prvi album nije bio neki wow (ali jeste mnogo bolji od ovoga), tako da niti sam hajpovao sebe nesto na ovo, niti nesto spec. razocaran.

 

Bolji od novog Ensiferuma, ako nista drugo

After an 8 year wait, Wintersun fans finally saw the release of new album "Time I" (reviewed here) back in October of 2012. The band has now checked in with the following announcement about the follow-up album:

"Hi everyone! After some Festival- and Summer show announcements we thought we might also give you a heads up regarding TIME II.

"2012 was a really great year for us, the release of TIME I was a huge success and we did two successful tours and many sold out shows. But we are aiming even higher and take Wintersun to the next level in 2013! We have 3 official webstores up and running (Europe, Finland, North America) and we hope you guys like the available items. There´ll be constant updates and new products and we will also have interesting competitions and specials coming up on our pages, so be sure to check it all out.

"We are starting the mix of TIME II and it will be released early 2014. The album will continue where TIME I left, but it will be an upgrade in production, it will be equally epic, if not more. It will contain some 'fast stuff' and some guitar shredding (incl. 7 solos) like some of you metal heads and guitar wankers have been wishing for. It will also contain some of the most beautiful music ever written, that will bring a tear to your eye.

"We are playing some huge summer festivals in Finland and in EU (Incl. Tuska, Nummirock, Metalfest, Beastival, Hellfest...) and for the first time going to Spain. We are also taking part in EMMA GAALA ('Finnish Grammy') in March for the nomination of 'Best Metal Album of the Year.' We know it´s going to be an exciting year. It is because all of you who have supported us during the years, we have been able to grow and continue to do what we love.

Kamo lepe sreće da Wintersun izdaje nešto i blizu zarazno kao smeh ovog lika.

Po onome sto postuju na FB, nesto snimaju izgleda ali nece biti Time II. Verovatno neki manje kompleksan album da ispune ugovor sa Nuclear Blast pa da dobiju pare za Time II.

 

WHAT IS "IT"

It's 2017 folks and it's going to be a great year! Time for some big Wintersun news? Yes it is!

When we said that "IT IS DONE", we did not mean TIME II, but we meant a NEW ALBUM for sure! TIME II won´t be the next Wintersun album, because of reasons you already know from past updates and interviews.

So what is IT? IT is a NEW ALBUM and it is 100% done! And no, that's not the name of the album. This album will be something new and different, but equally great or perhaps even better in some ways. Over 53 minutes of solid Wintersun material (with no intro tracks) and with a killer concept!

This album will be THE 3rd FULL LENGHT Wintersun album. We will release the name of it soon and other details like track list etc. We're gonna start putting the pieces of the puzzle together for you guys how it's going to be released and what will happen... It will be a whole new experience to enjoy a Wintersun album! It will all make sense to you very soon!
