Dobro je sto jos uvek postoji neko u metalu ko ne bazira svoju muziku na besomucnim solazama. Iskreno, jednostavno i mocno. Portals of light je jedna od jacih balada koju sam cuo. Tako je!!! Prvi album razbija, posebno Lord of the Blacksmiths. Turin Posted June 13, 2003 Report post Posted June 13, 2003 upravo obrnuto: prvi album je dosta prosecan, da nema Per Tyrssons Döttrar I Vänge bio znatno vise generic. Drugi album ima puniji zvuk (kao da su dodali jos jednu gitaru), folskiji zvuk i mnogo bolji songwriting koji ih izdvaja od drugih power bendova. Says mainman Stefan Weinerhall, "This album is a concept album about greed, falseness and megalomania in the 1300s in Sweden. It is based upon a true story. Actually, a concept album to me is always a bit hard to listen to and sort of strange with all those short 'who cares songs' between the real ones. This one is not like that, but is a normal FALCONER album with some more variations and unexpected turns. "Well, the fact that we've changed the singer makes it not 100% a 'normal' FALCONER album. I can promise a lot of guest appearances and that alone makes the album more varied. "We are so very satisfied with the album since the last year has brought so many new things to the band like more members, live gigs and the feeling of 'a real band.' Vokal je los, a i muzika onako monotona, dosadna, klasican prezvakani power metal, cak nije ni melodicna. Od ovoga je bolja i Zonata. Kveld Posted December 5, 2003 Report post Posted December 5, 2003 Eh , ako je folkskiji sigurnio je bolji ne znam shta da kazem o ovima a da to pre mene niste rekli ...maznula sam Gothlingu prvi album zbog svima name drage pesmice i prijatno sam se iznenadila Falconerom , tu je dobar power ali gle chuda , nama onih karakteristichnih falseta (zato su mi i Kamelot uhu najmiliji , jer nemaju to vrishtanje) ... mada,ne bih rekla ni da je vokal ovog bate osobito prijatan .....i naravno , ono shto mi je super je taj srednjevekovni fazon i najdraze su mi pesme koji taj fazon potenciraju(A quest for the crown,Mindtraveller,Lord ...., The past still lives on.......) Madafaka Posted January 7, 2004 Report post Posted January 7, 2004 Imam novi album (Sceptre of Deception) i dobar je. Nije toliko dobar k'o prva dva, al' to se moglo ocekivati kad je Matthias otisao. Kristoffer, novi pevac je dosta dobar i dosta peva u nizim registrima. Album je konceptualan o nekoj srednevekovnoj pizdariji oko kraljevog nasledstva... Zbog toga su textovi loša strana tog albuma (dosta su prisiljeni). Mali je problem i zvuk koji mi se cini prazniji od prva dva albuma. To je malo cudno, jer sad su pravi bend sa drugim gitaristom, ali verovatno je problem to sto taj drugi nema taj karakteristicni Stefanov debeli zvuk i riffing. Melodije su tipicne Falconer, pesme su u proseku malo brze ali nema ni jedne koja bi se odvajala od ostalih. Sve u svemu; dobar album i Matthias nedostaje manje nego sto sam ocekivao (a i gostuje kao vokal jednog od trojice kraljevih sinova). Sutra imaju koncert u Ljubljani (Orto bar).
