The album is being produced by Sascha Paeth, who is also playing the rhythm guitars. The drums have been played by Kiss-drummer Eric Singer and the bass is being played by Tobias himself. ----------------- BOB CATLEY OF MAGNUM ON AVANTASIA! Tobias has just returned from a trip to England where he did vocal sessions with Bob Catley, lead vocalist of British Epic Rock legend "Magnum", for the upcoming "Avantasia - The Scarecrow" release. Bob Catley had been guest starring on "Avantasia - The Metal Opera pt 2" in 2002 as well. "Bob is one of the nicest people I've ever met. He's a great singer and true friend. Magnum have always been an incredible influence for me. Magnum producer Mark Stuart tracked and recorded the session at Madhat-Studio in Wolverhampton where the new Magnum Album "Princess Alice And The!Broken Arrow" had been recorded as well. ----------------- JORN LANDE ON TOBI'S NEW AVANTASIA ALBUM! Tobias has just finished some recording session with his buddy Jorn Lande (ex-Masterplan) for his new conceptual Avantasia-album "The Scarecrow". The album is scheduled for late summer. Telcontar Posted June 8, 2007 Report post Posted June 8, 2007 Pazite, Avantasia 3 je potpuno nova prica, nema veze sa prva dva albuma, koliko sam ja skapirao Sammeta (nesto sam citao njegov sajt) ovo je potpuno novi album, nova prica, samo je uzeo isto ime jer je manje vishe na isti fazon, Power metal, konceptualan album, opera sajt (gostujuci muzicari).. ali prica se nece nastavljati, vec ce biti neka nova. Cim sam se vratio kuci, u roku od dva dana sam naucio sve tekstove. i do danasnjeg dana znam citavu operu naizust. Cim sam se vratio kuci, u roku od dva dana sam naucio sve tekstove. i do danasnjeg dana znam citavu operu naizust. Verovatno albumi koje sam najvise slusao. bice ovo najocekivaniji album godine za mene Ja sam se drogirao prvencem svojevremeno kad se pojavio dok sam dvojku daleko ladnije primio... sem pesme Neverland koja mi je dugo vremena bila zvono na telefonu.... "Caught in Neverland, heat and fire, ice and snow..." Tobija smatram za coveka koji ima neogranicenog potencijala ... pa posto Edguy polako skerce u neke druge vode, nadam se da ce Avantasia III pruziti vrhunski epski filing... jedino me Jorn plasi u celoj prici. Kamaitachi Posted June 27, 2007 Report post Posted June 27, 2007 (edited) Meni je Metal Opera Pt.I u samom vrhu, jedan od najboljih albuma koje sam cuo!Znaci strasno koliko je dobar!Dvojka tu i tamo, ima dosta zanimljivih i kvalitetnih delova, al mi deluje nekako razvodnjeno, ko da je Sammetu na pola posla ponestalo ideja!Na kecu su sve pesme van svake pameti (al kad bih bas morao izdvojio bih: Serpents In Paradise io The Sign of The Cross, ali one su samo za dlaku ispred ostalih)! Sa dvojke bih izdvojio: Neverland(Rob Rock definitivno nije normalan covek) i The Looking Glass (Bob Catley isto peva u p.m.), ostatak manje vise, kazem ko da je razvodnjen! Sve u svemu, zbog ovog projekta(a pogotovo prvog albuma) ja prema Tobias Sammetu gajim ogromno postovanje! Uh kad ce ta trojka, mada sumnjam da ce biti ko kec, to se ne ponavlja!
