    AYREON mastermind Arjen Lucassen's webmaster has issued the following update:

     

    "The very first vocalist for the seventh AYREON album was recorded in the Electric Castle Studio last week. We're not revealing the name of the vocalist just yet, but you can listen to a sample of the voice (without instruments) here.

     

    "During the time leading up to the official announcement of each of the vocalists participating on the new AYREON album, we'll be giving acapella previews of every vocalist. Currently 12 vocalists have been confirmed, and a few more will be added.

     

    In another update the webmater adds: "Arjen and Ed Warby [GOREFEST] finished all drum recording together with producer Gordon Groothedde. Studio report is coming soon!"

    OK, ali to je ono što Lucassena čini toliko orginalnim! :rolleyes:

     

    Poslušao sam klip, stavrno ne mogu da provalim koji je pevač u pitanju ... back vokale je uradio po školi Ian Parry-ja (Elegy).

     

    Čitao sam studio diary na njihovom sajtu ... snimanje ide jako dobro i mislim da ćemo vrlo brzo imati album :)

    Ayreon Fan Meet!

    On Saturday September 15th, 2007, there is an Ayreon Fan Meet in Amsterdam the Netherlands, organized for and by Ayreon fans. It will be an afternoon filled with all things Arjen Lucassen (Ayreon, Star One, Stream of Passion, Ambeon, Strange Hobby etc).

     

    There will be a special performance by the Ayreon cover band the 'Ayreonotes', possibly a few special guests PLUS a very special and exclusive sneak preview of the new Ayreon album.

    The third vocalist to be featured on the new Ayreon has been announced: Ty Tabor (King's X). Magali Luyten (Virus IV) and Simone Simons (Epica) were announced earlier. In total 13 vocalists have been confirmed, with more to be added.

     

    For a limited time only we've put up a 10 minute demo track for which vocals have not yet been recorded. Ben Mathot of the band Dis plays violin on this track. Ed Warby, as always, plays drums. This demo will be deleted in a few days, never to be heard again, so check it out now!
