The reunited ANGELCORPSE is currently hard at work on its new album, entitled "Of Lucifer and Lightning". "John Longstreth [drums] has created some hammering drums for us to work with, and Gene [Palubicki, guitar] and I are hard at work tracking guitars, bass and vocals for the album," says bassist/vocalist Pete Helmkamp. "We promise that 'Of Lucifer and Lightning' will be the most extreme ANGELCORPSE album to date. Of course this sounds cliche and what every band might say after 'reforming' after several years, but we say fuck off to all of that: ANGELCORPSE has never been like those other bands and this album will certainly show that to be true. da da,cover najbolji do sada,a i sudeci po nazivima pesama bice ovo sigurno stari dobri angel corpse.

prvi utisci za of lucifer and lightning su da je album sasvim korektan i ocekivan.ne bas onako kako su ga oni najavljivali,ali zvuk,kompozicije i sve ostalo je na njihovom prepoznatljivom nivou.kako stvari stoje, jos ne vidim razloge da prevazidje exterminate ili inexorable.

Inexorable je za sad najbojli. jedva čekam da čujem ovaj novi. ne mora da bude bolji od starih-samo nek je na tom nivou. ANGELCORPSE

 

 

zajeban novi album,nema sta.nije kao prosla 2 megakvlta,ali nikako nije za bacanje,pakleni morbidangelicni rifovi,brzina...sve na mestu

meni su svi njihovi albumi 10/10. stvarno su svi prva liga, a opet nisu svi isti i nije ni najmanje repetitivan ovaj bend, svaki album ima neki svoj smek. jedino poslednji album ubiva malo slabija produkcija (produkcija na the inexorable je 100 puta bolja). jako mi je zao sto su se raspali bili su stvarno vrh vrhova.

iskreno, Of Lucifer and Lightning mi se nije pretjerano svidio, kak su obećali da će to biti najžešči album, meni se činio dosta istrošenim, bez ideja, a vokal je dosta oslabio.

 

No The Inexorable mi je odličan album. Kao i ona kompilacija koja je spomenuta, ak ništa drugo ima odlične covere (Kill again:rockdevil:)

Zadnji je bio odlican ako ga je iko detaljno preslusao...Bend se preselio u izvanredni Apocalypse Command i Perdition Temple (najbolji logo sto je Moyen ikad uradio)....Moju malenkost je Gene pitao da uradim za A.Command...Poslusajte, necete se pokajat...ista agresija...

Ruku na srce, nisam ih previse slusao, ali nekako su mi - odusevim se necim, pa onda mlako, mlako... pa opet super momenat, pa opet mlako i sve tako

 

Preslusao sam albume ali ih nisam vrteo do iznemoglosti, mozda bi mi bolje leglo...
