Ovaj Ripper baš voli da pravi muziku na jedan specifičan fazon, koji je u suštini jako dosadan.

Jak konkurent za najgori album godine.

Zavisi od toga šta sve slušaš. Ja sam preslušao novi album Marilyn-a Manson-a, teško da nešto može gore da bude.

Album je predosadan. Hita ni u ljeljama.

Ja taman htio pitati kakav je album ali evo vidim da nema potrebe. Steta, dobar je on pjevac...

Ripper ima turneju negde na leto. ZA sada vidim koncert u septembru u Bechu. Dovoljno je blizu.

 

A to shto kazhete za je album losh, dosadan... Vashe lichno mishljenje je jedno. Ako ne volite njegovu muziku, reci cete da je album losh i ako nije. Shto se mene tiche, album nije neshto posebno dobar, ali nije da je za otpad. Podnoshljiv je, ima par dobrih pesama. Svakako bih voleo da ga chujem uzhivo, jer bi pevao i pesme iz Priest perioda, koji meni jako odgovara.

Meni se svidja samo To Live Again, a ostatak albuma ne verujem da cu ikad vise pustiti...

 

A ova all-star ekipa je bila samo na nekom malom delu turneje, trenutno je ekipa Ripper, Comprix i neka tri totalna anonimusa.

Take the news that Tim “Ripper” Owens — of Judas Priest, Iced Earth, and Charred Walls of the Damned fame — will be teaming up with former Dio members for something called Dio Disciples. The group will feature Rudy Sarzo on bass, drummer Simon Wright, Craig Goldy on guitar and Scott Warren playing keyboards.

 

Dio Disciples will be playing a number of shows in Europe soon along with Toby Jepson of Little Angels. Now, I say nothing seems to make sense since Dio’s death because, this doesn’t make any sense. Why would anyone pay money to see dudes from Dio’s old band play Dio songs with Tim? Tim’s an awesome dude and all, but the whole commercialization of Dio since his passing just leaves me with a foul taste in my mouth.

 

I think it’s bile that’s risen from my bowels and creeped its way passed my tonsils. And now, here’s a word from the person behind all of this commercialization of Dio…or as she calls it, “keeping Dio’s memory and legacy alive.”

 

“There will never be another Ronnie, but we want to keep his music alive and hope you will support the band and become one of the Dio Disciples,” says Wendy Dio, Ronnie’s widow. “We will [announce] the U.K./European tour dates as they are confirmed, and we are planning some U.S. dates also. Hope to see you at one of the shows.”

Ja nemam nista protiv ovoga kao ideje, ali mislim da su mogli da izaberu nekog drugog pevaca. Nemam nista protiv Rippera, on je sjajan pevac, ali mislim da su mogli da izaberu ili Jorna ili Nils Patrick Johanssona koji su slicniji Diu. Ne vidim problem u ovome, ako je mogao Thin Lizzy sto ne bi i oni...

Neverovatno kod ovog coveka je sto se uvek uvali tamo gde je prethodni vokal nezamenjiv. Inace lik je veliki baja, tu price nema, cak bi mi Iced Earth bio drazi sa njim, nego sa pandurom.

Jednostavno covek apsolutno nije imao srece u karijeri, inace je jako talentovan.

BLABBERMOUTH.NET has learned that powerhouse American vocalist Tim "Ripper" Owens (DIO DISCIPLES, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, BEYOND FEAR, JUDAS PRIEST, ICED EARTH) has been named the lead singer of TRED, the new band featuring bassist Rudy Sarzo (BLUE ÖYSTER CULT, OZZY OSBOURNE, QUIET RIOT, WHITESNAKE, DIO), drummer A.J. Pero (TWISTED SISTER) and guitar virtuoso Mike Orlando (ADRENALINE MOB, SONIC STOMP). An album's worth of material is currently being recorded for a 2012 release. European and U.S. tour dates are also planned.

 

TRED's musical direction is described as "go-for-the-throat, straight-ahead rock."

 

Commented Orlando: "15 tracks so far are in pre-production.
