e da li je slusao neko BATTLE OF MICE? ove dve stvari sto se mogu naci otkidaju..osjecam da ce album biti predobar....a ova "Sleep and Dream" je jebena...evo ga tekst...

    na podforumu avantguarde metal su uglavnom

    1) bendovi koji nisu mogli da nadju svoje mesto na ostalim podforumima

    2) bendovi koji su prosirili zanr metala, kao sto su Strapping Young Lad, Meshuggah, Opeth, Isis itd.

    Pa i meni se čini da je ovaj deo foruma proizašao iz nemogućnosti klasifikacije nekih bendova. Što je žalosno jer je onda naziv "Avantguarde" više nego pretenciozan.

     

    A termin "Metal" u imenu je neadekvatan jer se ovde više govori o indie/post-rock bendovima nego li o metal bendovima.

    pa vec smo dosta raspravljali o tome ovde, naime, 'avantgarde' se kao termin u metalu javio sredinom '97-98. da bi se tada opisali bendovi koji su imali neki neo-classical pristup muzici (kao Therion sa albumom Theli), da bi se tim terminom kasnije oslovljavali bendovi kao sto su bili Arcturus (kada se pojavio La Masquerade) i Solefald (Neonism).

     

    danas taj termin zvuci dosta smesno, ali je u neku ruku zamena za 'Other Metal' ili 'Left-field Metal' ili whatever.
