Koncert benda MAJMOON + podrška TRIKO

 

Već 11 godina od osnivanja band-a u Münich-u odakle i danas deluju, Majmoon se bave ekperimentalnim rockom u obliku audiovizualne interakcije. Za mnoge koji ih poznaju, o ovom sastavu ne govore kao band-u već umetničkom projektu koji je iznedrio nekoliko muzičkih uradaka za film kao i šest albuma od kojih su poslednji "Procedure in a Case of Breakdown" i naravno, jubilarno CD/DVD izdanje "Ten years of Riot and Thinking Of You..".

Njihova muzika se definiše kao audiovizuelna harmonija trance-a, rock-a, noise-a i audiohaosa.

What is MAJMOON ?

MAJMOON is a big bleeding heart.

MAJMOON’s songs tell stories; they open up a world which to delve and lose yourself in. They tell of remnants of war, anonymity in a concrete city, decaying death and a love for love. Thumping thrusting drums, glimmering guitars and a voice calling from another place which intersperses to break it up and then disappears again as if had never been there before. The songs build up and crash, they move like waves back and forth, back and forth. These are dark moments in history and personal epiphanies. The album centers around the notion ‘life is a snapshot in time’ which is reflected in the music, the lyrics as well as in the formal translation - all songs were recorded analogue and in one take; do it and so be it. A reflection within a reflection: a closed house with doors leading to one another. Distorted sounds and Kraut moments mix together to form an amalgam of ecstastic swaying and pounding. It is all about feelings and how to detroy them. You can feel that heart bleed all over your record player.

Is it CAN, is it SHELLAC is it BATTLES or is any comparison superfluous ? To hear, to listen, to feel, is the way to approach a band such as MAJMOON. Hypnotic darkness will envelope you in velvety scratches.

These are soundtracks with which to forget yourself.

Their philosophy is ‘Do it yourself and Do It Together’. The individuals come together to create a large swaying animal that lurches back and forth, howling, shouting and baying at the moon searching for answers.

ULAZ 300 dinara

Kako im se ispalti da sviraju za 300 kinti damn it...

Mislim ne bunim se ja za cenu, samo razmisljam naglas

to ti je neka standardna cena za manje poznat strani bend, plus ovi naši verovatno imaju šemu sa organizatorima i to mu dođe to. poslušaj i Triko, imaš bandcamp, valjani instrumentalni rok. dojmiće ti se verovatno.

baš sam pričao sa njima što su izabrali najgadniji datum, isto veče Resonate, Ben Frost, ne možeš više u ovom gradu napraviti koncert, a da se ne poklopi sa drugim događajem.

Primamljiva svirka, primamljiva cena.

Dobra svirka bese... Triko... 'nako, nije lose za predgrupu ali nisam odusevljena... Maraaaa <3

Majmoon interesatan post/experimental rock, uzivanje je bilo slusati ih uzivo, mada sam imala vise ocekivanja s obzirom na Carlijevu preporuku... u sustini jako lepo iskustvo...

Ponadao sam se početku na vreme nakon skorašnjeg pozitivnog iskustva, ali sam se previše ponadao.

 

Triko moraju bolje da se uvežbaju, izbace vokal bubnjara koji nema veze ni sa čime i ne zvuči dobro ni sam po sebi, te srede da vokalno gostovanje bez reči bude na mestu, kad već nema šta da se pamti. Ono, potrudili su se oko projekcije, hteli da naprave ugođaj, ali mora prvo muzika da bude kako treba. Slowdive curi iz deonica, jedna upečatljiva deonica od A Place To Bury Strangers se pojavila u sredini seta. Neka se trude, valjda će biti nešto.

 

Za Majmoon nema zamerki. Zvuk je bio dobar od početka, svetla i projekcije idu savršeno uz muziku (Neurosis recept - član benda koji se bavi samo time). Nisam upoznat sa diskografijom, pa ne mogu da komentarišem izbor pesama, ali je lepo teklo. Lagana svirka uz dve-tri zarazne bas deonice, solidno prošarano, svirka za sve pare.

 

A dobio sam i nalepnicu.
