Swedish metallers ASTRAL DOORS, who feature in their ranks LION'S SHARE vocalist Patrik Johansson, have issued the following update: "So far we have recorded the vocals to five new songs and my feeling is that this time you will hear a couple of new sides of ASTRAL DOORS. For example, today's song is a heavy-ballad kind of tune named 'Bastard Son'. I promise you, you have never heard Patrik sing with such emotion before, it's breathtaking! On the other hand, we have harder songs than ever before as well. 'Planet Earth' is one example of that — the meanest song we have done this far. But don't worry, it will all fit in the frame of the true ASTRAL sound. So I guess you will hear a more varying ASTRAL DOORS when this, as-yet-untitled record hits stores. When? After the summer of 2007, I guess."

TESTAMENT's classic late '80s/early '90s period has been well documented over the years by several compilations. However, the group's latter era has thus far slipped through the cracks as far as compilations go. On February 13, this will change, as "The Spitfire Collection" will be issued. Consisting of tracks from such Spitfire/Testament titles as "The Gathering", "Demonic", "Live at the Fillmore", "First Strike Still Deadly" and "Live in London", the 14-track set chronicles an era that ultimately saw the original TESTAMENT reunite for a successful 2005 tour. As a result, "The Spitfire Collection" features both live versions of such TESTAMENT classics as "Practice What You Preach", "Over the Wall", and "Souls of Black", as well as such oft-overlooked studio tracks as "Careful What You Wish For" and "The Burning Times". With such bands as METALLICA, MEGADETH, SLAYER and ANTHRAX introducing the world to thrash metal during the 1980s, TESTAMENT was one of the few second wave thrash bands to make a strong impression on the charts — resulting in such renowned releases as 1988's "New Order", 1989's "Practice What You Preach", 1990's "Souls of Black", and 1992's "The Ritual". 01. Аксеаносилас@ Ak se ne varam ne prenose se nikakvi bodovi...6 novih tekmi se igra...4 grupe sa 4 ekipe... Ja danas po prvi put u lajfu gledaj Partizan na nekoj evropskoj tekmi uzivo, i jbg..sto reche moj drugar, da smo isli busom vise bi se skenjali, al ovako kolima.. Igrali smo sa mudima 3 chetvrtine, i onda su nas unishtili zadnju..oni bre nisu imali faul do 2ipominuta pre kraja bre...uzas. Centri nam se nisu videli..ono ne kapiram..Kosta Glupa Faca je smesan bio..Pekovic nista bolji...Drobnjak je ulazio u bunar previse puta...jedino sto su mi pozitivan utisak ostavili Kamings i Kecman, i bilo je jos par ljudi koji su podrzavali sa strane(Bozic, Bogdanovic...)...al jebes sve, imamo za cim da zalimo, ispustili smo mec u kome smo vodili vise od 35 minuta igre..

Sinoc gledah Full Metal Jacket..3. il 4. put otprilike...neverovatno carski film! Stenli genije bre... "I don't know but I've been told Eskimo pussy is mighty cold!" I gledah prvi put The Omen, i podosta mi se svideo, Gregorya sam mozda negde pre gledao, al ovde je mlogo dobar, dobra pricha, nema smaranja, lepo se razvija sve, povremene odlichne horror scene...i najveci plus je sto nema happy enda!

"Endtyime" mi zvuci kao jedan od onih "povratak korenima" album, hehe. Nije bash da je "Forest" atmosfera, ali pesme su bas takve, no ima i heavy numera tipa "Melancholy Emperor", "Sea Serpent" koje zvuche i vishe kao kasniji radovi, a najbolja pesma albuma mi je definitivno "Alchemist Of Sorrows". BTW Cathedral svaki album ima pomalo psihodelije u nekim pesmama, ali cenim da je "Astral Queen" vrh sto se tiche toga, za sada.

Ovo sto je WOIce napisao za Total Desaster potpisujem svakom mogucom olovkom u kuci. Jebote, pa oni su usporili pesmu!!!!! A isto se moze reci i za Curse The Gods. IMHO jedna od najboljih thrash metal pesama ikada..totalno ruinirana, bez imalo ballsa, i oni heavy kao dabar prelazi su sada nekako..izgubljeni..ne mogu da objasnim sta su to oni uradili sa pesmama bre pa albuma zvuci ovako..bedno? Nove pesme nista specijalno..kao po obichaju... Chak i Mad Butcher zvuci kao da je imao vrlo los dan..

Second that! Moj favoritni film..i josh uvek trazim majcu negdi..

Pa cenim i ja da je tako..i prirodno je da bude tako..al me lecter zbuni u gornjem postu..

Sasha je smeshan...nisam gledao kak smo bili protic Njukasla..al jbg..

Blow - Film je verovatno odlichan..al mene kanda smorio..i ima dosadne pateticne trenutke..i tema me malo smara, a i nekak mi se cini da sam gledao vec puno filmova o istorijatima dilera/mafijasa..a i ne volim Donjeg Dzepa... Corpse Bride - Verovatno najbolji crtani film koji sam ikada gledao. Ne najbolja animacija i to..ali svakak veoma unique, mracna, 'gothic', zanimljiva prichica i dosta odlichnog crnog humora. Velika preporuka.

German power metallers RAGE have announced the addition of drummer André Hilgers (AXXIS, SILENT FORCE) to the group's ranks. "During [the recording sessions for] the Nuclear Blast anniversary album, we were very surprised how perfectly André's style matched our new song, 'Terrified'," the group writes on its web site. "So it was obvious that we jammed through the RAGE classics and the sparks flew immediately. André had a lot of new ideas that fitted perfectly our style and the understanding among us was harmonically. He brings a lot of fresh blood and power to the band and we have loads of fun again playing our music. "Andre's 32 and he's from our area, what makes work a lot easier. With him he brings meanwhile 16 years of experience in studio and live work. He, as a metal fan from the beginning, followed the career of RAGE from its start, so he's perfectly into our material (even the old stuff). Though he's got extraordinary musical abilities, he never lost touch and stayed based in all his musical projects he focused more on playing for the songs and bands than to boost his ego." RAGE's latest addition, André Hilgers, commented: "Surely I was very happy regarding the request of the guys [to join the band], and it's a great honor, belonging to RAGE now after drummers like Jörg Michael, Efti or Mike Terrana, lambasting the kettles. The studio job for the anniversary sampler for Nuclear Blast was so much fun, that I really look forward for the teamwork with Victor and Peavy, as it's also a challenge for me to work with such versed blooded musicians like Vic or an inherent part of the German metal scene... namely Peavy. Ja sam extra sluchajno i skinuo album...nisam znao sta da skidam..i ubode ga ki u oko! Nabavi.

Mene je ovaj bend oduvek bio...hm..dosadan, brz, al dosadan...i ne znam ni koji sam zadnji album slushao..al ovaj novi, Chapter VI, me je izuzetno 'extra-prijatno' iznenadio! Catchy power albumche!

Pa bre..ne ulazi mi u glavu da ljudi kao Gary Holt izdaju ovakve stvari..mislim, ok mozda su oni josh bolji gitaristi nego sto to pokazuju na albumima, ali od njega se pre svega ochekuje novi Exodus materijal..a ne neki shred kurci..josh ce da napravi i Progressive side project next...

Nikada nista ne ochekujem od ovih "opera". Tommy i dovidjenja.

Farmu sam procitao prosli vikend, za jedno prepodne..pa ni toliko...nice knjizica, sa mlogo do jaja krajem(gornji citat, hehe), ali IMHO ne moz' se meri sa 1984...prejebeno dobra knjiga.
