The organizers of the Swedish hard rock/heavy metal festival Gates of Metal may face prosecution over the stage show put on by the Norwegian black metal band MAYHEM last Saturday (August 5). Pig heads and other animal parts decorated the stage during the band's performance — a violation of the Swedish animal by-product regulation. "It's illegal to handle animal parts in this manner," Hanna Werthén, administrative officer at the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Fisheries, told the Swedish newspaper Östran/Nyheterna. "You may use animal by-products for educational purposes or in an artistic context, but in that case you need a permit from us first. We have not received an application from the festival promoters in Hultsfred. Therefore we will take action. Exactly what will happen I can't say at the moment, but it may very well lead to prosecution." "The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Fisheries called me to inform me what regulations apply in a situation like this. I actually didn't know that these rules existed," says the festival organizer, Olof Wikström. "But the situation is what it is, and all I can is that it is regrettable. Now we await the pending investigation. It's very regrettable that it turned out this way, but at least we learned something new for next year's festival. "If you just look at the artistic aspect, it was a good show," Olof continues. "The audience response was very positive to the MAYHEM show. It's a pity we hadn't secured a permit from the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Fisheries." Hanna Werthén explains that first you have to apply for a permit to acquire animal parts from a slaughterhouse. An additional permit is required if you want to use the animal parts for educational purposes or display them in an artistic context. "In this case, it will be difficult to take action against the bandmembers since they have obviously brought the animal by-product with them from Norway," she says. "I actually don't know what we can do with regards to the bandmembers. But we will look further into the festival organizers' part in the matter, since they have the overall responsibility for the animal by-products being displayed on stage." The animal by-product regulation was introduced in 2002. "From an animal disease perspective, it's important," Werthén explains. "It was introduced because of the mad cow disease. The purpose is to be able to trace all animal by-products so that you know where they end up. Thus animal parts cannot be handed out in any kind of fashion."

According to a posting on GAMMA RAY's official web site, the German power metallers' next album, which is due out late 2007, will be entitled "Land of the Free Part II". As the name suggests, the CD will be a conceptual continuation of the group's 1995 classic "Land of the Free". Zashto Hansene? Zashto? Jer to zato sto su ovi idioti izbacili Keeper 3?!

Helloween je svoje ime dobio 1983e(nako 5-6 promena otprilike). Italijanski Halloween ne znam kada je nastao ali im je prvo izdanje tek iz '84e, dok je ovdespomenuti Halloween takodje prvo izdanje imao 84e a i te godine je i nastao ako se ne varam, tako da to o eventualnoj 'kradji' imena nije bash tachno.

Nisam ga gledao nigdi drugde, a Batman Begins mi se i ne gleda nestho, ali priznajem da je dobar. Takodje mu svaka chast kad se onako 'usukao' samo zbog filma ..ali kakvog filma!

EVo odslusah "Walpurgist Night", i sto reche grave na prethodnoj strani definitivno su mnogo slushali maidene. Zvuk je dosta britanski as well, ali i pored maiden duha prisutnog album je sasvim dobar. Skull and Crossbones je bas jaka pesma, sa sve onim trooper introm

"The Machinist" - ingeniozno dobar film.

U principu tekstovi su ok, mislim..thrash lirika.. "Black Serenade" je izuzetno dobar...dok se kod ostalih vrti monotonija i mislim da bi Keri mogao malo da odlozi olovku za buduce radove i da odmori malo od ovih dechijih "Hail Satan" fazona.

E svaka chast za ovu temu A sad malo ja.. Anyway, ne bih se bash slozio za WASP poredjenje. I takodje, izdali su 3 albuma i best of i demo kompilaciju,a ove godine su izdali i novi album(chetvrti dakle) i EP. "Don't Metal With Evil" je uber kul albumchina u heavy/speed maniru, a bogami ima i thrash feela. Obozavam onaj ludi riff u "Trick Or Treat" i to mi je rbe i najbolja Halloween pesma, josh bih izdvojio sa albuma "Busted" "What A Nice Place" "She's a teaser" "To fight the beast" E sad..sledeci snimljeni album je "Victims Of The Night" ali je izdat tek 97e..i njega josh nisam slushao, ali zato jesam iz '91e "No One Gets Out" koji po zvuku u odnosu na DMWE zvuci kao da je od nekog drugog benda. Jedina prepoznatljiva veza je zanimljiv vokal Brajana Tomasa koji stvarno zna dobro da zavristi. Anyway, album pochinje odlichno sa "No One Gets Out", prosechnom ali kanda zaraznom "I die, You Die" i najboljom pesmom posle Trick or treat - CRAWL TO THE ALTAR! BTW ove tri pesme su thrash metal. Crawl to the altar riff koji ide posle introa je testamentovski do bola! Anyway, posle ove pesme, album postaje dosadan, dve balade, pa dve predugachke pesme i par osrednjih, od kojih je bolaj jedino "The Thing That Creeps" Anyway, moja preporuka je prvi album!

Uopste nisam odushevljen. Zvuk je dobar i bend je dobro odsvirao, Kai..ovaj..Lars je dobro pevao, ali fali 'nesto', nisam imao zmarce za "Lindisfarne" kao kada je slusham sa albuma...a i takodje je prekratko...za live album mislim da vredi barem sat vremena efikasne svirke. Mogla je tu da padne i "Bounde By The Oathe", "Welcome Thy Rite"..i gde je bre THY LAST FIRE!?!?

Progresivno i prelepo brutalno. Tek sam jednom zavrteo album i vec sam se naprzio, dodushe i ostali IE albumi su me tako 'hvatali'. Melodichni delovi su ostali na slichnom nivou, ali imho death delovi su mnogo jachi i sa vishe intenziteta nego pre. pesma albuma - Timeless Winter a za Andy Sneapa stvarno ne treba neki poseban komentar..perfektan rad

HAMMERFALL debuted its new single "The Fire Burns Forever" — the track the band recorded with some of the Swedish participants in the European Athletics Championships — on Saturday (August 5) at their exclusive headlining show at the Gates Of Metal festival in Hultsfred, Sweden. They will perform the song at the official opening of the 19th European Athlethics Championship in Gothenburg tonight. Swedish viewers can watch the performance live on Eurosport at 9:07 p.m. CET. At the Gates Of Metal show — one of only two concerts this year — the audience was treated to a special set list which included the rarely performed song "The Dragon Lies Bleeding" off the band's debut album, "Glory to the Brave". The band also poked fun at this year's trend of hard rock bands like LORDI and THE POODLES appearing at the Eurovision Song Contest by playing a metal version of the Swedish artist ROGER PONTARE's "När Vindarna Viskar" in Swedish. HAMMERFALL closed their set with "Hearts on Fire" at which point they were joined on stage by the Swedish women's curling team who won the Olympics in February. Uh od kad nisam ishao na metal-rules How do you compare it to the previous album? What's the biggest difference between The Weight Of The World and the new one? I would have to say Ronny Munroe. On this record, and especially after doing the first album and touring for a couple of years, he really kind of came into his own. He kind of started finding his own voice a little bit more, and he was a little more sure of himself, a little more confident. I think his performance on the record is alot better. Bassist/songwriter Leif Edling of the legendary Swedish doomsters CANDLEMASS has posted the following message on the band's official web site: "It is hotter than hell right now (in Sweden anyway) and most of you doom-lovers are on vacation. So are we. And we do get worried questions though about what is going on in the band regarding Messiah [Marcolin, vocals] and the new album. "I can't really say if Messiah will sing on the upcoming album or not, but the last thing I heard was a little bit positive. Let us hope that it becomes 100% certain it will happen. It's all between Messiah and the label [Nuclear Blast Records] now, you see. It is summer holiday time, don't forget. "I hope this issue can be solved soon, as we need to carry on the work on the new album. "The past [few] months haven't exactly been the best time for CANDLEMASS. Ovih dana sam mogao da gledam Kaija u Bugarskoj...bem mu zivot..

Odgledah malopre kod druga "Lucky Number:Sleven"..ili "Dobitna Kombinacija" kako je kod nas preveden. U poslednje vreme gledam sve neke loshe filmove..a ovaj...oduvao me je. Odlichno. A i gledao sam dve chadjave dvocevke po 73. put (otprilike).. I'm shot!

Pre svega, ovo je one man band. Moja preporuka "Evil Never Dies" i "Hell On Earth" pre svega, dodushe to su i jedini albumi..pa "Death Master" EP..
