Dutch death metallers GOD DETHRONED will release their new album, "The Toxic Touch", on October 23 in Europe (except Germany, Austria and Switzerland, where it will arrive on October 20) via Metal Blade Records. The CD was recorded at Soundlodge Studios in Germany with producer Joerg Uken. Mastering was handled at Wisseloord Studios in Holland. Commented GOD DETHRONED mainman Henri Sattler: "'The Toxic Touch' is the product of two years of extensive and intense touring all over the world. The new lineup has proved to be superior to all the previous ones. You could see it as a learning process. While everybody knows us as a band with a fine mix between the brutal and the melodic parts, people appreciate us mostly for our groove and melody, especially live. The new album reflects that more than ever before. "The number of blast beats on this album has been decreased to a minimum. Why? Simply because in a live situation it's probably the most boring part. In the new situation the blast beat adds something special, the explosion, whereas in the past it was just a common part of our style and therefore 'nothing special.' A ja konachno nabavio onaj Dehumanizer demo sa Tony Martinom koji je Elldamar spominjao Computer God verzija je tu shit.

Vecina textova slayera su klasichni thrash tekstovi i ne vidim nikakvu nauku koju bih izvukao iz njih. Najkvalitetniji tekstovi su sa "Seasons" tu nema dileme IMHO. Sa "Divine" tu i tamo. Ali Slayer osim po mozda eksplicitnosti svojih lyricsa sigurno nije preko njih privukao neku paznju na sebe, vec jebachkim riffovima i songwritingom+ Araying glas koji peva te iste lyricse, koji su im inache sve gori i gori i detinji.

Ne mogu da zamislim kako je ljudima koji chitaju "Pesme leda i vatre" josh od 96e(tada je valjda izashao prvi deo), dakle od pochetka i kako tke oni chekaju svaki sledeci deo(ako im se onaj prvi svideo naravno..). Dakle muka bre.

To mi odavno beshe neko pricha(Elldamar ako se ne varam), i ja sam se odushevio

Ko josh slusha Slayer zbog lyricsa?

Zashto bre niko ne otvara temu na koncerti&okupljanja!?!?! AAAA!!! Tony je bre veci metal od Ozzya vec 20+ godina..i ako ne idem u Bulgariu dolazim na ovo.. A set lista se preliva kolko je dobra Al shta ce mu Paranoid/Pigs ne kapiram..

Taj TSO je zlo. Jedva chekam novi JOP, ali ne mogu da se slozim da je "Tage Mahal" blizak starim Savatage radovima, chak naprotiv, sasvim je dobar 'nastavak' na "Poets And Madmen"

Pa jeste, al valjda da bi snimio vokale za album i sada je opet tamoj(Gaahl), i kad odsluzi to idu na turneju..

Hehehe, svidja mi se tvoje mishljenje Dodushe moje i nije bash tako, nisu bash slichni periodi i onda je bila manje-vishe slichna situacija i Rabbit je meni dosta blizak Bubblesima, ali josh nisu izdali nishta chudno tipa Chameleon..

Uhvatio sam juche na MTVAdria kratki vju i making of spota, fazon je valjda sa nekim detektivom koji je u stvari ubica, a vreme je rani 20ti vek pa su zato svi u sakoima

Perhaps..perhaps..no, stvar ukusa rekao bih, ali je Ralph daleko kvalitetniji pevach, barem je bio daleko kvalitetniji posebno u tom periodu, sada se vec Kai popravio, ali je i on sam rekao(za "Blast From The Past") da nije bilo uopste lako da peva te pesme, no svejedno ih dobro radi, "Dream Healer"a carski npr. I takodje, posle Kiskea, ne postoji chovek koji bolje peva "I Want Out" od Ralpha. e tu njegova "kreshtavost" dolazi do punog izrazaja

MEGADETH frontman Dave Mustaine and drummer Shawn Drover recently spoke to Jon Wiederhorn of MTV.com about the progress of the recording sessions for the band's new album, "United Abominations", which is scheduled for a Halloween release. "We rented [LED ZEPPELIN drummer] John Bonham's drum kit and recorded at a studio in [PINK FLOYD guitarist] David Gilmour's house [in England], which was great," Mustaine said. "The kit is the only one that's available in the world to rent," Drover added. "Dave surprised me with that, which was pretty incredible because I didn't even know it was possible to get Bonham's kit to rent for anybody. So I incorporated the bass drum and his floor tom and a snare on the kit that I use in the studio, and that was really inspiring. We played in the middle of nowhere and it was just a really cool vibe." Regarding the musical direction of "United Abominations", Mustaine said, "If I was to say what time this record would have came out, I would have said some time before [1990's] 'Rust in Peace' or sometime after [1992's] 'Countdown to Extinction'. The critics called 'The System Has Failed' a return to form, but this is even more so. The record company that I'm with now gets it and I'm with management who gets it. So I don't have to write songs because the wives of certain bandmembers are griping or their mortgage is not getting paid or management is telling me that I've got to get a record done to do the tour and I've got to do the tour because if not, I'm not going to be able to pay my bills." "United Abominations" will contain 11 songs, including the title track, "Washington's Next" and "Gears of War"; an additional track will be included with the Japanese release. "It's a really diverse record," Shawn said. "There's some faster stuff that should appeal to the band's thrash fans and it's got a little more mainstream stuff as well. Knjiga ostavlja toliko jebene praznine. Chekacu opet godinu dana da bi mi on opet isporucio 150 nedovresnih dogadjaja koje ja moram da pamtim i da me bombarduje novim likovima konstantno sakateci i ubijajuci stare. Jebesh mi sve ako se ja setim kad izadje "Ples sa zmajevima" da je Arja Stark slepa i kako je oslepela kad on to u ovoj knjizi kaze to samo u jednoj kratkoj rechenici..i onda nishta vishe odande. I zashto ne spomenu ni Deneris ni Tiriona pobogu...

Ne mogu da chitam knjige na kompu. Pisham se na glupi PDF(i na COF). Ali sam zato poludeo dok nisam nashao Lovecrafta u glupoj Srbiji(pisham se na..) i nashao sam na zadnjem sajmu dva omnibusa, i to na engleskom na srecu, i shta reci..posle Edgara Alana Poa, HP mi je omiljeni pisac. Gore pomenuta "At The Mountains Of Madness" je mozda neshto najjache sto je napisao al tu je i ReAnimator, i moj lichni favorit "Music Of Erich Zann", koja je inache inspirisala jedan od najboljih metal albuma ikada, benda Mekong Delta(>COF )

"Ovakvih pesama mogu da naprave dnevno po jednu. Sve sa glupim textovima i neinventivnim gitarama, sto vrte poslednjih 10 godina. Steta za onakav bend" upravo to sam ja hteo da kazem nakon sto sam chuo pesmu Smorishe vishe i djavola..a ova Reinkarnacija Bendzaminovog Brega im je samo josh jedan glupi pokushaj da napishu neshto barem i blizu dobro kao "Rime Of The Ancient Mariner". Maiden je go kurac posle Virtual XI

Josh jedno odlichno Motorhead izdanje. U slichnom je fazonu kao "Inferno", al besh mi sve od "Inferno"a nije bolje. Onda bi mi bash iznenadili. Ali svejedno u Top..hm..7 Motorhead albuma ulazi sigurno. Ima diverzija na albumu, i like that, nema whorehousa bluesa(kak'a je bre to pesma..one in a million), ali ima tu "klasichnih" spidashica a la "Sucker" , "Sword Of Glory" i "Going down", par rockerskijih "One Night Stand", "Devil I Know"(jedna od jachih na 'bumu!), zatim album ima pravi mali hit koji se zove "Trigger", fucking zarazno! U drugom delu albuma ima i neshto vishe heavy pesama, s tim shto je "Be My Baby" bash chudna pesmica, dok su "Living In The Past" i "Kingdom Of The Wurm" u fazonu onih brzih pesama sa Inferna, znachi neck-breakingly-catchy, i tu je maestralna balada "God Was Never On Your Side", ubedljivo najbolja pesma sa albuma! Ne znam za vas, ali ja sam zadovoljan. Izuzetno. 9.5/10
