"Pit And The Pendulum". Svako k'o voli Edgara Alana Cara razocharace se jer film nema veze sa prichom. Dakle sa te strane sam razocharan. Al zato Vincent Price nevidjen car!!!

Ovo je prva knjiga koju chitam od lika, i to sam zato jer mi je devojka preporucila..i pri kraju sam otprilike i mishljenje mi je pozitivno iako ja nisam bash josh uvek chitalac ovakvog tipa knjiga..

Ni ja. Ali se nisam ni odushevio. Ne kao za "Art Of War'' barem.. U principu solidan je album, , "ShadowsFear", koja je mozda i najjaca na albumu vuche onako na starije Vader radove, dok je "Predator" pesma koja tako obecavajuce pochinje ali je zadnjih minut-minut i po zestok smor i onaj riff koji se samo vrti i vrti..slichno i za "Field Of Heads"..oni bubnjevi na kraju smaraju ceo minut! Jedina pesma koja mi je odmah ushla u glavu(hit hehe) je "God Is Dead", zabavan kratka pesmica. Slichnog karaktera je i "They Live!!!".Nazalost nema nesto pesama koje su u fazonu "ARt Of War", tek na trenutke. Pored "SF", najjache pesme sa albuma su IMHO "Book" i "As Heavens Collide". Tako da se nadam cu ove 3 chuti uzivo u decembru..a od ostatka..koju izaberu..samo neka preskoce Predatora. ...BECAUSE NO GOD IS GREATER THEN YOU!!! 7/10

Justin Donnelly of The Metal Forge recently conducted an interview with STRAPPING YOUNG LAD mainman Devin Townsend. A couple of excerpts from the chat follow: On writing the new STRAPPING YOUNG LAD album, "The New Black": "When it comes to making STRAPPING YOUNG LAD albums, it's just a matter of me picking up the guitar and starting to write something. Whatever feels like coming out at that given time dictates the direction STRAPPING YOUNG LAD takes. There's no real conscious decision to make things sound the way they do. I simply start writing and go for it. This time around there a little more groove, a little more melody and a lot humour. It's simply what we came up with at the time. Every album we've done has been unique unto itself, and 'The New Black' is no different in that regard. It's never preconceived. It's not like we sit down and determine whether it's going to sound like this or sound like that. We had the opportunity to make this album, and with that in mind, the most honest thing we could do is just let it all come out and let it be what it wants to be. I think maybe this album wanted to be a little more melodic, a little less chaotic and a little easier to relate to. I think the humour plays a big part of that equation. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this album. I'm not hoping for this album to do anything more than what our other albums have done in the past. I don't care about that. As soon as you put hopes on something, it kind of breaks it down. 'The New Black' is just another album in a long line of albums. I'm just happy that we did a good job on it, and that it came out sounding good. The only hope I have is that people enjoy it for what it is, and that we can move on from this." On decision to add horns to a song on the new album: "They're actual horns too! I was never cool, so I always decided to do uncool things when most people wouldn't. So it shouldn't come to any surprise to find me putting horns and flutes in a heavy metal song. Some people might find that it dubious decision, but for me, it sounds like 'West Side Story'. I think it sounds good. I kind of had it in my head from the beginning to have brass on there, even though it's a song for STRAPPING YOUNG LAD. As for what you call the blurred line, in terms of sonically and the melodic elements, I would say that be a fair statement. According to SofiaEcho.com, HELLOWEEN will replace Eurovision Song Contest winners LORDI on the billing of the Kaliakra Rock Fest, set to take place August 25 in Kavarna, Bulgaria. The Finnish band is forced to miss the show due to scheduling conflicts, Avtora.com reported. The August 25 concert will be HELLOWEEN's third visit to Bulgaria. The band previously performed in the country in December 2002 and in January 2006. Kaliakra Rock Fest will kick off on August 25 with a performance by TESTAMENT. It will be followed by an appearance by TWISTED SISTER. Tickets are 30 leva in advance and 40 leva on the day of the show. Gunther zna da napishe odlichne strofe bogami. Veoma powerful. Ovu "Ypres" pre i nisam toliko zapazio ali sada ne mogu da je izbacim iz glave. "Invictus" i "Galilean" najjaci tekstovi! Anyway..da prokomentarishem "Halloween" uzivo posle..18 godina mu to dodje.. Najvishe me je odushevio Deris. Iskreno pola onih visokih delova ili nije izvukao ili se muchio kao pacov ali je zato izuzetno entuzijastichan celu pesmu i ruku na srce stvarno je carski frontmen. Takodje, muzichki, pesma je odlichno zvuchala, s tim shto mi se chini da je Weikath malo zabushavao na soloima. Nice.
