Swedish melodic metallers NOSTRADAMEUS have posted the following message on their official web site: "First of all, we want to say how sorry we are of the fact that we've been updating the homepage soo bad. There's been some problems for us concerning the access of the site. Sorry! Well, the recording of the fifth NOSTRADAMEUS album, 'Pathway', is finished. We used the same studio as we did with 'Hellbound'. [At] the moment we are working [on] the cover of the album [with] Derek Gores, also the same guy we used on 'Hellbound'. "This album is, how we would see it, a development from 'Hellbound' — more METAL. But I'm sure that you guys who like the earlier stuff will find things that please you as well, as long as you like metal. "As far as we heard, the album will be released by the end of this year or early next year. And our goal is to make as many gigs and tours as possible in the future." Sramota je da nema teme o ovom genijalnom bendu. Srce benda chine Graeme English, Steve Ramsey, obojca ex-Satan(oddlichan NWOBHM inache, ako nista drugo..svi su chuli Trial by fire, heh), i oni su trenutno jedini originalni chlanovi benda + sto je Georgina Biddle vec 10+ godina prisutna u bendu. Ali vec otprilike 5 godina u bendu se ne nalazi Martin Walkyier, moj definitivno omiljeni tekstopisac u metalu. U Sabbatu je bio nenormalan, a sa Skycladom je radio nesto prokleto genijalno. Skyclad ima jedne od retkih tekstova, koji zajedno sa fantastichnim folk metalom prozetim heavy/power elementima, stvarno natera na "pronalazenje" i na razmishljanje. No fantasy shit, metal rulz i slichni vec izlizani tripovi. E sad, neko ce reci da mnogo songwritera to radi. Jeste, ima ih, ali procitajte samo dva-tri teksta od Martina i videcete da niko to ne radi ozbiljno a opet sa toliko sarkazma i ironije kao on. Iskreno, on nema nikakav specijalan vokal, ali zna da peva, fakat je i da smishlja zanimljive i catchy vokalne melodije. Nisam slushao sve albume, u stvari nisam ni pola, ali svaki album ionako vrtim po dugo vremena tako da i ne zurim. Poslednji album koji sam nabavio je "Silent Whales Of Luanr Sea", koji je nesto vishe heavy od ostalih koje sam chuo, ali zato ima mozda i najjace tekstove. "Still Spinning Shrapnel" i "Jeopardy" otprilike pevaju o ratu i tim okolnostima, s tim sto je Jeopardy stvarno weird napisana pesma, sa sve melodijama i mracnom atmosferom koja je prati. "Just What Nobody Wanted"..pa u ovoj pesmi sam se lichno nashao, heh. "Desperanto" je genijalna speed/folk pesmica o tzv ujedinjenoj Evropi, "Another Fine Mess" se chini kao ljubavna pesma, ima prelep akusticni intro pre nego sto krene sa odlichnim heavy riffom...itd..ali glavna pesma albuma je IMHO "Halo Of Flies". Pesma o zivotu, pesma o svetu uopste. Heavy/power/folk..definitishite kako hocete. All you needed was somebody with a dream, A fool to crucify or to put upon a pedestal. Only dead fish float with the stream - Compared with you I seem like an extra-terrestrial. You say that life is a miracle - I don't believe one word. Forgive me for being so cynical - From down here you all look absurd. So are you happy now we all feel the same? Martyrs to the cause - boredom level nearing terminal. You're afraid to go against the grain, Next to you I feel like a shining intellectual. Od ostalih, slushah "The Answer Machine?" koji je vishe..hm...veseliji? album, barem se tako chini dok ne prochitate neke tekstove, ali muzika je speedy folky heavy metal. Zakon pesme su "Helium" i "My Naked I", ali anyway, Skyclad stvarno nema loshe pesme, jedino neke slabije neke jache. "Vintage Whine" nema chak ni te srednje slaboce. Genijalnost at it's top. Martin i drustvo at their creativity top. "Kiss My Sweet Brass"!!! Ima li jacheg imena za intro? Posto glupo da nabrajam sve pesme izdvojicu jedan lichni favorit - "Cancer Of The Heart" To show compassion makes you weak, so don't dare turn the other Cheek. Try hard to hide the fear you feel - with a heart of stone and nerves of steel. A naked-ape in the human-zoo. you amaze me with the things you do. I watch your pride before the fall, and realise l don't belong at all. "Folkemon" je takodje nesto tezi album, i imho ima dosta slabiju produkciju no prethodnici, no takodje prinosi tom heavy/speed feelu koga ima dosta na ovom albumu. Prva polovina albuma rastura. Velika pljachka mozgova, Polkageist, Antibody Politics..ali vec odatle malko je slabiji album, ali ipak zasluzuje ocenu 9/10! Od albuma koje sam slushao najslabiji je definitivno "A Semblance Of Normality". Prvi i za sada jeidni album sa novi pevachem, i vokal mu je nesto melodichniji od Martinovog...' nemoguce da niko nije slushao Skyclad, tako da...bacajte komentare. p.s. Besh mi sve ako ima tema, ali ja je stvarno ne nadjoh

Ne bash tachno... My Tortured Eyes izvode u poslednje vreme..sa Helldorada od te turneje nista, sa Unholy Terrora su radili Charismu po Americi, a Hate To Love Me im je postala jedna od maltene stalnih pesama u onom intro-medleyu, i sto se mene tiche ako, strava je pesma!

Spotovi sucks..i uglavnom su dosadni.. Bootlezi su prava stvar!

Swedish death metal supergroup BLOODBATH has issued the following update: "Dan Swanö is no longer part of BLOODBATH. The reason being restrictions on his behalf to devote more time and effort to the future of this project that it would require by taking things to the next level i.e. touring and playing live. Moreover, his future vision for BLOODBATH's concept proved to head in the almost opposite direction as his desire for death metal was to be of a less brutal kind, something the remaining members regard as musical differences not interesting to pursue, so at these crossroads, we'd like to wish Dan Swanö good luck with his future endavours and with the music that's closer to his heart. The audition for BLOODBATH is closed. We thank everyone who tried out, but it's with dashing hopes we have to announce there's no suitable replacement that matched our expectations. It was surprising, how so many applications could barely be listened to because of the extreme low quality in talent. We found it shocking to say the least, that same applicants would send us emails claiming they 'killed' both of our previous singers, but all they could achieve at the end of the day was our laughs or sighs. Well, one day we can maybe throw together a little compilation of those efforts and put up an exclusive mp3 right here and you'll be the judge, or have a good laugh or sigh, like us! But this doesn't mean all the applications were bad, actually a couple of them were damn fu**ing good, but criterias on other levels failed. Life goes on and so does death! "Wacken will soon release their annual DVD, but despite what was previously implied, the song 'Eaten' will not be featured on the 2005 edition. The entire footage of the show remains archived until there's been clearances by all parties, a subject to time." ++++ Swedish producer/multi-instrumentalist Dan Swanö has commented on his departure from BLOODBATH. I received an email from Blakkheim today where I saw that my services as a member of BLOODBATH were no longer required. "I must admit I didn't see that one coming!! But... I can totally see what the other guys are thinking about. (Tried to do the same to the EDGE OF SANITY guys in '97... but that one backfired pretty badly... ha, ha!!) "Blakkheim and Jonas are touring musicians, living off their metal and I would just be 'in their way' with the constant, 'Sorry I can't go on tour because bla bla bla,' that's cool. "Concerning the musical differences, I am a bit confused. As far as I can remember, I haven't even discussed the direction of my future BLOODBATH tracks. The announcement says that I tried to get BLOODBATH in a 'Moontower'/'Crimson' direction... That is not right... I have toyed with the idea to make a new album, using my own name, and revisit the style of those albums... Oh yes... What is a bit funny is that I actually wanted to write a bit more brutal songs for BLOODBATH the next time. I got inspired by working with the COLDWORKER album and the urge to write some complex, fast fucken brutal death came creeping back. (I have not always written 'TRL' death metal, you know... "Those are the fastest guitar players I think I've ever seen. They're like Yngwie [Malmsteen] on steroids. No, they're like Barry Bonds on guitar. It's amazing. I saw one video and I swear to God the guy must've played 75,000 notes." As for some of the other music Hammett's been digging, he said, "I like MUSE, MARS VOLTA, TRIVIUM, THE SWORD. I think WOLFMOTHER is fun. THE BLACK KEYS. And I've been listening to HANK WILLIAMS, because you've just got to. It's as heavy as ROBERT JOHNSON or BOB DYLAN." What was the last concert he saw? EDGE OF SANITY, the acclaimed Swedish band led by producer/multi-instrumentalist Dan Swanö, has finalized the track listing for its upcoming double CD collection, "The Best of Edge of Sanity".
