Прва два албума је издао Сузи из Загреба као лиценце, тако да се могу наћи. Остали мало теже, као и већина сличних бендова из тог периода. Магнум, на пример, у животу нисам видео на плочи код нас. Marillion тек с времена на време, али се нађе.

Како кад, мада нисам обраћао пажњу, јер их имам оба.

Meni je Asia jedna od omiljenih prog rock grupa. Silent Nation mi je savrsen mada su i Phoenix i ovaj novi Omega dosta dobri. Stare kultove da ne pominjem.

Mada, meni je Arena najmiliji album od njih, sa vanvremenskom The Day Before The War.

Thirty years after its eponymous debut album, ASIA ascended to the top of the Billboard Top 100 chart (where it remained No. 1 for nine consecutive weeks), the legendary British classic rock band returns with a brand new studio album, a 30th-anniversary edition of their debut album, 2 DVDs, and a world tour that includes Europe, Japan and America.

 

ASIA will release its new studio album, "XXX" (pronounced Triple X) via Frontiers Records on June 29 in Europe and July 3 in North America. The new record, produced by Mike Paxman, which is being hailed as ASIA's best album since its classic early '80s releases, will be made available as a CD, collector's-edition CD/DVD (featuring new music videos and behind-the-scenes footage), and on vinyl (limited edition Europe only). Original artwork for "XXX" was created by Roger Dean.

 

The first single taken from the highly anticipated new album is entitled "Face On The Bridge", released worldwide on May 14. The official video for the song can be seen below.

Steve Howe napustio Asiu

 

Poznata supergrupa progressive/AOR usmerenja Asia, ovih dana dobija promenu u postavi. Naime, gitarista i autor Steve Howe napušta bend u kojem je bio od osnivanja.

Razlog je manjak slobodnog vremena i kako sam gitarista objašnjava – “Obaveze su mi okrenute radu u YES-u, mom triu i solo karijeri, i jednostavno ne postoje mogućnosti da sa Asiom nastavim“. Na njegovo mesto dolazi shreder Sam Coulson, čije iskustvo takođe nije malo. Poslednjih šest godina Howe je svirao na svim turnejama i koncertima grupe. Bend nastavlja sa aktivnostima, nagoveštavajući da će sa Howe-om biti realizovan sigurno neki drugi oblik saradnje.

Od svojih početaka u prvoj polovini osamdesetih godina Asia je zamišljena kao supergrupa, čija je komercijalna varijanta u ono vreme nazvanog stadionskog progressive/AOR-a zaokupljala pažnju javnosti.

Onaj album "Omega" iz 2010. je imao bas dobrih pjesama, ali mi se zato ovaj proslogodisnji "XXX" nije dopao.

Novi album objavljen, nazvan "Gravitas". Poslusace se.
