Santa Guardian thought it was unfair that “The Bard’s Song – The Hobbit” was re-recorded for Memories of a Time to Come but “The Bard’s Song – In the Forest” didn’t get any special treatment. Using his own special brand of persuasion, Santa Guardian “convinced” the band to make an orchestral version of “The Bard’s Song – In the Forest” for inclusion on Memories of a Time to Come. Ono sto mi stravicno ide na zivce od A Night At The Opera pa nadalje je to nenormalno overdubovanje vokala, bilo je zanimljivo na Nightfallu a posle toga ubija u pojam. Valjda ce Hansi da shvati jednom da ima dovoljno dobar glas da ne mora da ga nasnimava 10000 puta. Po meni, re-recordovanje starih stvari ima smisla samo kada je na originalima losa produkcija i kada je trenutna postava bolja ili drugacija od postave sa originala. U ovom slucaju - produkcija na starim albumima je OK, postava je manje vise ista, ali je naravno Thomen bolji od sadasnjeg bubnjara jbg. Angelystor Posted January 21, 2012 Report post Posted January 21, 2012 Izgleda da sam ja (za sada) jedini koji nije uzasnut novim verzijama :] "Valhalla" zvuci bre sasvim dobro. Naravno, ni po kom kriterijumu ne moze da ni da pipne original, ali da se ova pesma kao original pojavila na nekom novom BG albumu, opet bi bila jedna od najboljih pesama benda. No, ono sto meni najvise smeta kod pesme je Kai. Zvuci dobro. Originalna verzija mi je jedna od ruznijih Kaijevih performansa, ali i kao takva vrlo upecatljiva i da...jeb'o sve bez vriska :] Kako bilo, barem nisu "Twilight Hall" dirali, ne bi im oprostio da opet rade onaj duet ma kako da zvuci, taj minut mi vredi k'o sve pesme Avantasia-e zajedno. A da...jos dve reodrade...Ne znam, za Hobbit, k'o Valhala, pristojno, a za ATTWS ne kapiram sto jednostavno... Sve u svemu, nije ovo strasno, pristojna je kolekcija, jos da ima neki lep cover pa bih mozda i pozurio da je kupim. Sam poredak pesama fin, mozda mogla jos neka balada tu da uleti, a i jedan zanimljiv detalj su mogli do kraja da odrade, na prvom CDu npr. ima 4 naslovne pesme, a bila bi super fora da su stavili sve naslovne sa prvih 6 (dakle jos BOF i Twilight), mislim da to nigde nisam video na kolekciji, a ovde iz nekog razloga nije odradjeno do kraja... 1 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
