Тако су за нови албум од Dimmu Borgir промосе делили само на касети, а Cannibal Corpse су тако исецкали неким пиштањем, да ми је било мука да га слушам. Textovi su uglavnom prilicno bolesni, ima jedna ljubavna baladica (klasika)... Sta mislite?? I have sacrificed much of my life for this band. I have reached a conclusion. There will be many of you that will be saddened to hear this so I apologize in advance for the fact that: I HAVE WRITTEN AND RECORDED THE BEST FREAKIN ANNIHILATOR CD THAT I HAVE BEEN A PART OF. THE SINGER IS INSANE. THE DRUMMING IS INSANE. THE SONGS ARE INSANE. THE GUITAR/BASS PARTS ARE INSANE. TO ALL THOSE OUT THERE WHO WORK THEIR BUTTS OF AT SOMETHING THEY LOVE AND GET NOTHING BUT ROADBLOCKS, S>>T, AND NEGATIVITY TOWARDS WHAT YOU ARE DOING, KEEP GOING AND NEVER GIVE UP; YOUR BEST WORK AND TIMES ARE COMING SOON! ANNIHILATOR AND I ARE LIVING PROOF! JEFF WATERS hehe; i think i beter put a few clips up to tease ya some more. but you all seem to know me. i don't joke about how good this cd is. i always say that i like the cds i do but this one is the most special of all of them. yes, i mean even the first 2 and KOTK. This one was born out of incredible circumstances. Many things got in the way of this one or tried to stop it from happening. It made me 10X stronger and wiser. The songs became far more intense and personal than ever. The lyrics have deeper meanings now. The power is more intense. The playing and performances of Man-Genie and Dave are superb. We all know Man-Genie is great. But Dave Padden came out form under a rock to replace big ole Joe C, quick! Alot of pressure was on the guy. He survived it and a month in the studio with me. He is the ONLY singer I have worked with who can sing clean, dirty and in between BUT with 100% of the attitude I had envisioned in my mind while writing it. Sometimes 150%. This is the first cd that i can listen to and forget about the music for a while and only hear what this guy is saying. Amazing, considering the hardest job a singer can do is to give 100% feel to lyrics and subjects that were written by someone else. Sebastian from Skid Row is a rare example too; he didnt write that early skid row stuff but, for a commercial metal singer, he had 110% attitude! Araya is a great example too. If Pantera had not coined the title "Far Beyond Driven", I woulda used it; that is exactly how to describe this new cd. POWER/DRIVEN/MAD/RARE/CLASSIC. Uporedi molim te vokal tog genija sa balada tipa "Return To Serenity", "Legacy" i vokal ovog ljivago Paddena na pesmi "The One" ...SMESNO!!! E sad Chuck Billy je tokom karijere mnogo koristio growl, a moristi ga konstantno zadnjih 5-6 godina...Doduse genijalan growl, a i pre toga je takodje imao vrlo mocan thrasherski vokal...radio je vriskove, duboke glasove...ma sve I zasluzuje da se nazove jedan od najboljih thrash vokala! A ti uporedjujes "ovog" annihilator-ovog ..sa njim?! Mislim... ..covek se vise dere nego sto peva..onak "besni" vokal, zvuci veoma bendo, pa i napaljeno u nekim trenucima...jedinu pesmu koju je donekle dobro otpevao je "Rage Absolute"...mada nju vise izvlaci genijalna muzika, i nas nam dragi Jeff. Album mozda nije nesto na prvo slusanje..ali sto ga vise slusam..sve mi se vise svidja...i uskoro cu da ga "ocenim" celog...ali stvarno album je THRASHERINA najbolja (nikakav metalcore ili nu kako je neko tvrdio) A ni vokal uopste bre nije tolko los JEFF CARE!!!! Mozda, jer sam Jeff zeli da bend bude upamcen po njemu , ocigledno da je covek isuvise narcisoidan. Iako se pravdao kako uvek naidje neki "veci" bend i preotme mu vokala. Cvrc btw.
