SixStepsOnTheMoon Posted February 13, 2007 Report post Posted February 13, 2007 Po meni jedno od boljih ostvarenja 2005-te godine je bio njihov album prvijenac The 1st Chapter [prvi je ali opet nije los] ,inache momci su iz Norveske,album ima odlichnu pricu,vokalista Michael Eriksen ima savrsen glas...sve u svemu jedan odlichan Melodic/Progressive band.... A sad ko ga je slusao i naravno sta misli !? Prvi je odlican, uopste nije originalan, ali eto dokaza da nekad i kopija moze da bude mnogo bolja od nikakvih originala. Symphony X, Dream Theater... to je to. Samo mnogo bolji vokal od LaBrie-a. Prvo vako Circus Maximus iako totalna kopija gorepomenutih SyX i DT je odlichan bend, debi album je bio u vrhu ostvarenja za 2005u godinu, a iskreno ochekujem vishe od narednog... E a sad ovaj quote...apsolutno netachno...iako James mnogo loshije peva od onog incidenta sa trovanjem bla, bla, on i dalje ima jako dobar glas (hint: The Human Equation - Ayreon)...ipak njegovi radovi sa Winter Rose + Images & Words i Awake...to je neshto shto mozhe jako mali broj ljudi da otpeva bolje od njega ili mozhda josh bolje da kazhem malo ko je sposoban da peva tako visoko kao James tada i to je to.... Haha, cinjenica.... Ali samo ako se kvalitet vokala odredjuje na osnovu skale kastriranosti pevaca Winter Rose npr... I Will Never Fall In Love Again jeste otpevana extra visoko, ali gde je tu sve ostalo, boja glasa je oduvek pritisak, uzivo iskasapi i unakazi sve sto se unakaziti moze (Awake in Japan - uzas! The Killing Hand na Marquee Live-u - uzas!)... daleko od toga da je on totalna katastrofa od pevaca, ali ne bi mi prvi pao napamet kad hvalim DT ekipu A ovo je ipak Circus Maximus tema, mozda je bolje da ne upadamo u takvu raspravu ovde. Dakle ovo je bend od koga mnogo očekujem u budućnosti, jer su i ovim prvencem pokazali da zaista dobro svriraju. Jeste da nismo ništa novo čuli ali je kvalitetno ipak Album je 'prvo pa muško' Posebno volim Glory of The Empire, Alive i Haunted Dreams. Sve najbolje sa moje strane! The name of the album is “ISOLATE” and has this dark approach to it, although we have of course still kept the melodic touch that Circus Maximus is all about. The album ended up being a concept-album although that was never the intention, but as the songs and the lyrics went along the story just added itself. To make it short ... The story is about how much you can loose until you go completely mad, and how much have lost when insanity finally embraces you. It's really up to the listener (and reader ...) to intepret the story themselves, because it can be understood in different ways and we don't want to spoil the surprise … hehe There’s one instrumental among the 9 songs, 1 real epic tune clocking in at almost 13 minutes as well as another 9 minute tune. Here are the song titles: 1. A Darkened Mind 2. Abyss 3. Wither 4. Sane No More 5. Arrival Of Love 6. Zero 7. Mouth Of Madness 8. From Childhood's Hour 9. Ultimate Sacrifice So there you have it … The release-date so far is end of August ’07 for Europe and either end of August or early September ’07 for North America. As for the rest of the world, our management is currently looking for a licensing partner. In the meanwhile have a great summer, and we hope to see you at one of the many festivals we’ll be playing soon. A new website is also in the making and will be launched real soon – there you will also be able to get a preview of our new music.
