The Destroyer of All je idalje najbolji death metal album godine

Mada ja nisam slusao mnogo death metala ove godine, vise sam po grindu cepao, ali ovo mi je jedan od najboljih tech/prog death albuma u zadnjih par godina. Jako zrelo i interesantno izdanje.

 

Taman sledece godine da izadje Gorguts, pa one tamo Ulcerate, dovoljan mi je jedan ovakav album na godinu dana. Plus sto ocekujem da Gorguts bude totalni haos.

Relapse Records has announced the signing of New Zealand progressive death metallers ULCERATE. The band will enter the studio in the fall of 2012 to begin recording its next album.

 

Dobro se Relapse setio da prestane da potpisuje Mastodone i Dillingere za siromašne. Christian Mistress, Weapon, Ulcerate... vraćaju ugled polako.

Smešno je što najavljuju snimanje albuma koje će početi za godinu dana, to je sve.

meni nikako da bude prava atmosfera da izgustiram izdanje skroz kako dolikuje.

To i ne računam u death metal, Septic flesh svira Septic flesh metal. U samom vrhu albuma 2011.

Slažem se, ni ja ih ne računam u death. Symphonic extreme, realno.

Ta sranja se stalno dešavaju u poslednje vreme, svako malo neko objavi da je pokraden na turneji.

ali jos vece sranje za njih jer su sa novog zelanda. ko zna kad ce opet moci na turneju

Meni je sam izlazak novog Morbid angel albuma dovoljan da ga postavim na tron, sta da se radi.

U svetlu onoga sto se desilo, tek sad vidim koliko je ovo brutalno

Nije ni ovaj moj komentar ispod bolji, isto sam se epski razočarao - doduše, ne kao Grob u MA, ali ipak...

At this point we have been writing since March, and so far have completed 4 tracks, close to 35 minutes worth of music. We're exploring a lot of new territory with this material and so far everything is sounding a lot violent/uglier than past releases, as well as more rhythmically involved than The Destroyers of All. After signing with Relapse Records in late 2011, this week Auckland, New Zealand-based death metal horde Ulcerate will enter hometown MCA Studios to record a fourth LP.

Ulcerate’s founding drummer Jamie Saint Merat states, “After almost exactly twelve months of exhaustive work we are now in the final stages of preparation for our fourth album. This week we enter the studio to track what has become a violent, monolithic piece of work.”

The yet-to-be-named fourth opus from Ulcerate follows two albums on Willowtip Records -- 2009’s "Everything Is Fire" and 2011’s "The Destroyers Of All" -- not to mention the 2007 Neurotic Records debut "Of Fracture And Failure." The following press release was also issued about Ulcerate:

"The band downs wave after tumultuous wave of dissonant riffing and a nonstop barrage of leveling, technical percussion with organic brute force and otherworldly discordance, topped with a purely disdainful, guttural lyrical attack. Their brutally-charged, sinister death metal bears an innovative, blackened edge resulting in a catastrophic concoction not dissimilar to Mitochondrion, Mithras, Portal, Glorior Belli and Deathspell Omega.

"Ulcerate has toured with extreme metal heavyweights across all of New Zealand, Australia and heavily across Europe alongside the likes of Nile, Krisiun, Decapitated, Behemoth, Cannibal Corpse, Deicide, Grave, Corpus Mortale, Svart Crown and others, and even assaulted North American audiences for the first time with several shows around and including 2012’s annual installment of the massive Maryland Deathfest."
