According to RollingStone.com, METALLICA guitarist Kirk Hammett plans to work on a book during the band's downtime time called "Too Much Horror Business" (after a MISFITS song), a collection of his favorite non-musical obsessions. "Horror movie posters, toys, artwork, comic books, the whole thing," he says. "It's something I've been into ever since I can remember. I remember finding my first monster magazine in San Francisco when I was six years old."

 

Since then, Hammett's become a world-famous collector, sometimes auctioning off prize possessions like the only known lobby card for Lon Chaney's 1927 "London After Midnight" as well as an ultra-rare Spanish-language lobby card for the 1931 "Dracula" and a Swedish poster for the 1933 "King Kong".

 

"My favorite horror movie is probably either 'The Mummy' or 'Bride of Frankenstein'," he tells RollingStone.com. "I'm an old-school guy, you know, a big Boris Karloff fan. If you want to bring it up to present times, I really love 'The Evil Dead' and 'Re-Animator'. I'm still waiting to see 'The Human Centipede'! I can't wait! The funny thing is, [my wife and I] live in Hawaii now, and we see centipedes all the time."

    ,,Nedavno je popularni muzički sajt "Music Radar" pokrenuo zanimljivu inicijativu. Tražili su od svojih posetilaca da izaberu najboljih pedeset hevi metal albuma svih vremena. Danas imamo te rezultate i prezentujemo ih vama U oštroj konkurenciji ubedljivo je trijumfovao bend "Metallica" sa svojim legendarnim albumom "Master of Puppets" iz 1986. godine. Očekivano i zasluženo. Inače, ova grupa ima čak četiri albuma među prvih dvadeset pet. I opet zasluženo. Na drugom mestu je ostvarenje s kultnim statusom - "The Number of the Beast" iz 1982. grupe "Iron Maiden". Treći je "Appetite for Destruction" naših nesuđenih gostiju, grupe "Guns N’ Roses". Četvrti su ponovo šampioni, "Metallica", sada s albumom "Ride the Lightning" iz 1984. Na petom mestu je, za nekoga iznenađujuće visoko, grupa "Slayer" s ostvarenjem "Reign in Blood" iz 1986. Možda još jedno iznenađenje: "Megadeth" je šesti s pločom "Rust in Peace" iz 1990. Sedmi je nedavno spominjani "Black Sabbath" s legendarnim albumom "Paranoid" iz daleke 1970. godine. Tek na osmom mestu su "AC/DC" sa svojim verovatno najpopularnijim albumom - "Back in Black" iz 1980. Deveta je "Pantera" i izdanje "Vulgar Display of Power" iz 1992, a deseti "Iron Maiden" i "Powerslave" iz 1984. Zaista žestoka konkurencija i nimalo lak zadatak za fanove.

     

    I u drugih deset imamo gorepominjane grupe, ali i neke sjajne novajlije koje su možda zasluživale i neko bolje mesto. Međutim, publika je ovako odlučila:

    Pa ova lista je nedavno bila na ovom topiku...MoP zasluzeno prvi, ubedljivo najbolji album, ikad! Ikad!!1

    bas sam gledala i nje niko skoro postovao na ovu temu. a i vest je objavljena skoro. -14.06 cini mi se.
