Dosta sranja: TeePee of Total Rock Radio conducted an interview with Jørn Stubberud, best known as the bassist in the legendary Norwegian black metal band MAYHEM (where he performs under the stage name Necrobutcher), at this year's edition of the Bloodstock Open Air festival, which was held August 9-12 at Catton Park, Derbyshire in the United Kingdom. You can now watch the chat below. Asked if MAYHEM has begun working on material for the follow-up to 2007's "Ordo Ad Chao", Stubberud said, "I think that we are not a traditional band in that matter, that we make an album every year and then do a tour with that. 'Cause we don't feel it's necessary to do that — we do an album when we feel like doing an album. It's true — all the guys have some other projects also; like Hellhammer [drums] has ARCTURUS, Attila [Csihar, vocals] has VOID OV VOICES and SUNN O))). It takes time to come up with some good stuff, and we don't wanna rush anything. But we are now, actually, working on some new stuff. It's very hard to say [when the next CD will be released], but we are currently working on some new material and we have a plan to do something that will kick us in the ass a little bit. It's too long a story to go into that [right now]. . . We're waiting for the right inspiration, but having a blast in the meantime, too — travelling around the world and playing."

Ne bi me čudilo da je on uvrteo sebi u glavu da ima potencijala za predsednika, pokušava da se nametne republikancima ovako.

New York death metal legends, IMMOLATION, recently entered Sound Studios in Millbrook, NY with longtime producer Paul Orofino to record their ninth full-length album. The follow up to their 2010 release Majesty and Decay, will once again be mixed and mastered by Zack Ohren (ALL SHALL PERISH, DECREPIT BIRTH, SUFFOCATION). "Just got out of the studio a couple of days ago, here in Europe now getting ready to do some open air festivals,” commented guitarist and dead ringer for Anton Lavey, Robert Vigna. “The new album will have 10 tracks of some of the most intensely dark material we have ever written! Very powerful and very heavy. Steve (Shalaty – drums) really pushed it all to the limits on this one too. Once again we went up to Millbrook, NY to do the main tracking. Paul Orofino got us some of the best sounds we've had yet! We were there for two weeks laying down tracks, having amazing Belgian beers at Paul’s in house bar 'BarFunGul', as well as plenty of BBQing! Throughout the time we were there we got through one blackout and dodged a very intense storm system that had the potential to cut our recording session real short. Luckily everything worked out. We still have to add some last touches on to the songs etc., as well as have Zack Ohren mix and master it all but so far everything is off to a great start. Be certain that this new album will surely be one of our strongest yet. We look forward to getting it all finished up soon and getting it out there as soon as possible for the fans!"

  13. http://www.metalsucks.net/2012/08/15/more-details-and-photos-of-the-baroness-u-k-bus-accident/ The Mirror and Yahoo both concur that seven of the bus’s nine passengers were able to get out of the wrecked bus by themselves. The remaining two, one of whom was the driver and the other of whom the identity is not known, had to be cut free with hydraulic tools by the fire department. Those two suffered the “most serious injuries,” according to The Mirror – including “multiple fractures” — and were taken to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol while the remaining seven suffered ”more minor injuries” and were taken to the Royal United Hospital in Bath. The good news is that both sources claim that none of the injuries are life-threatening. The bad news is that “not life-threatening” still leaves a whole lot of room for horrible shit. A comment left on MetalSucks early today by a user known as “Metalmusictalk” says that according to drummer Allen Blickle’s brother, a friend of the commenter, Blickle has “a cracked vertebrae and possibly a punctured lung.” The commenter also claims that in addition to the bus driver, bassist Matt Maggioni had “bad injuries” as well, although he did not specify what kind of injuries those might be. MetalSucks has not been able to confirm any of this with an official source, so it should be treated purely as speculation.

Asked about the progress of the songwriting sessions for SANCTUARY's "comeback" album — tentatively titled "The Year The Sun Died" — Dane said, "We've got so much stuff written that it's hard to sort through, but we played two new songs today [during the Bloodstock Open Air performance]. We played the one ballad, it's called 'I Am Low', and we played another one called 'The World Is Wired'. Some of the other stuff is a little heavier, but those songs, I think, are… Sometimes the stuff that isn't as heavy is stronger, so that's why we picked those." He added, "I don't think anybody is gonna be disappointed, because I am involved in the creative process and I know what's going on and I know where we're going and I know it's gonna be killer."

Ovde apdejtuju informacije iako im info o muzici benda nije baš najbolji: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-somerset-19267414 Baroness's tour promoter said: "It is with great regret that we have to inform you that Baroness were involved in a very serious road accident earlier today and will not be able to perform at Talking Heads tonight. "Our thoughts are with the band at this time and we wish them and their crew a speedy recovery."

  20. The American Band Baroness were on the tour bus which crashed and fell 30ft over a viaduct near Bath. The incident happened at 11.30am at the junction of Brassknocker Hill and the A36, the fire service said. A total of nine people were on the coach. Two were trapped and had to be rescued by firefighters. Seven people have been taken to Royal United Hospital in Bath with what are thought to be relatively minor injuries. The two others have been taken to Frenchay Hospital in Brtistol with more serious injuries. The band played at The Fleece in Bristol last night. They were on their way to Southampton when the accident happened. http://www.itv.com/news/west/update/2012-08-15/american-bands-tour-bus-crashes-in-bath/
