I'm going on a trip soon — next week — on my own, actually, which I've never done before. I'm gonna bring the guitar and write some stuff, hopefully. But I think we're still touring, and we still have another European tour coming up in the fall. And that kind of prevents me from getting too into the work — the creative process. I'm gonna start writing more from real once we finish the tour. 'Cause I don't have much."

MPIRE OF EVIL (formerly PRIMEVIL) — the band formed in 2010 by ex-VENOM members Jeff "Mantas" Dunn (guitar) and Tony "The Demolition Man" Dolan (bass, vocals) — finished laying down the drums for its forthcoming second album, tentatively due in November.

"Häxagram", the new video from Swedish hard rockers THE GRAVIATORS, can be seen below. The song comes off the band's sophomore album, "Evil Deeds", which will be released on August 31 via Napalm Records. According to a press release, THE GRAVIATORS "revitalize the spirit of the '70s without sounding like a dusty retro band, because the Swedes skillfully give each track their own character.
