ABIGOR 90s albums, Napalm vs. WTC master
Here are random examples of the first 3 albums to show how the sound has been developed for the WTC editions.
First you hear the Napalm (.A.) and then seamlessly without pause, the WTC (.B.) master, like this:

The repetitions are done so the difference becomes more obvious.
Like it was usual at the time (probably the same at Grieghallen), back then in the 90s at Hörnix Studio, those albums were recorded all-analogue on 24-track tape and then mixed-down from tape to hard-disc. And there in the digital domain, a very basic kind of „mastering“ has been done. Those were the early days of digital technique, when the tools were rather crude.
Of course, for the WTC releases, we left the analogue mix untouched, but took the chance to carefully improve the digital mastering.
What you hear is no „remaster“ to change the sound, but an attempt to restore the power and transparency of the original analogue recording, and present a slightly (!) more open and direct sound that always got a bit degraded in the original masterings.
Especially Blut Aus Äonen (Opus IV, part II) and Supreme Immortal Art profited from this, but also these 3 albums shine more than ever before.
Баш су људски замастили звук. Само ме занима кад се пуштају у продају та реиздања??
