2013 will be a busy year for THE OCEAN. We will release a new album on April 26 (GSA), April 29 (Europe) and April 30 (USA) 2013 on Metal Blade Records. To support the release, THE OCEAN will embark on a 3 weeks European tour with CULT OF LUNA in April and May, including a performance at Roadburn Festival on April 20th. The new album will be a single album containing 52 minutes of new music. It will be mixed by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Katatonia, …) in January and will come in 2 versions: instrumental and with vocals. Comments The Ocean’s Robin Staps: “The album was originally written to be instrumental, but in the end me and Loic couldn’t help but try out a few things vocalwise and we soon got pretty excited… so there will be vocals on the album; however, we want everyone to have both versions, and we are also planning to perform the album live that way – with and without vocals.” The special edition of the album will be released along with a film by Craig Murray (Nine Inch Nails). The 3xDVD “Collective Oblivion” has been postponed for a release later in the year, but shall also see the light of day in 2013.

CYNIC To Enter Studio Today - Dec. 11, 2012 Progressive rock/metal band CYNIC will enter Perfect Sound studios in Hollywood, California later today (Tuesday, December 11) to begin recording its new album for an early 2013 release. In a February 2012 interview with Ireland's Molten magazine, CYNIC guitarist/vocalist Paul Masvidal stated about the musical direction of the band's new material, "It's almost like, I don't know how to explain it, but if I had to put it in a box it's more sci-fi, futuristic and alien but at the same time very song-driven. It's kind of like, to me, coming into CYNIC's body more. It feels very modern and at the same time it just feels really cool. I'm big in the space. It's definitely new. It's not like anything we've done before. It's a new color, a new space. I think people will really take note of even the guitar stuff. I'm really shifting gears, I'm trying things in a different way and the way stuff is played. It's a new space for CYNIC, for sure. It definitely sounds like us, except completely new." CYNIC's latest EP, "Carbon-Based Anatomy", was released in November 2011 via Season Of Mist. The CD artwork was designed by the great Robert Venosa, the artist behind the covers of CYNIC's previous releases "Focus", "Traced in Air" and "Re-Traced". All bass parts on "Carbon-Based Anatomy" were recorded by one-time CYNIC bassist Sean Malone. CYNIC was joined by Brandon Giffin on bass and Max Phelps on guitar and vocals during the group's North American and European tours in support of "Carbon-Based Anatomy".

ma mislim da svakako ne moze da se uporedi festival i solo svirka. mozda bi i proslo ok, ali u svakom slucaju je uzasno rizicno. nama su svi promoteri amateri/entuzijasti koji rade iz svog dzepa. to je najveci problem. nije kao bec ili pesta gde su to promoterske agencije sto imaju budzete i sponzorstva iza sebe. kad bi imali u metalu ljude sa parama kao ovi sto rade svirke u beogradskoj areni, onda bi svi dolazili kod nas. do tad ce nas svi ti preveliki za gun/premali za arenu bendovi preskakati.

svirace meshuggah i gojira i mastodon u srbiji 2025 kao sto nam sad dolaze svi matori bendovi koji ne mogu vise od 300 ljudi da skupe danas a nekad su harali po svetu

toliko da bi morao veliki skc da se napuni da bi se isplatilo
