W.A.S.P. kicked off its "The Crimson Idol Tour" Friday night (October 26) in Thessaloniki, Greece. The band performed the 1992 album in its entirety while never-before-seen video footage was shown throughout the show. After a short break the group returned for another a 30-minute set of W.A.S.P. classics. The setlist was as follows: 01. Titanic Overture 02. Invisible Boy 03. Arena Of Pleasure 04. I Blaze je definitivno pocheo neverovatno da sere na svirkama... A sad viidm na sajtu da bubnjara trenutno nemaju, dakle ova leshina sto se chuje na AiP vishe nije u bendu, good. Horror. King Diamond has told MTV.com that he may be forced to cancel his band's U.S. tour — which is scheduled to launch March 23 in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, and run through May 8 in Houston — due to a herniated disc. "I can't sit down, even on my couch, for more than a few minutes," he said. "About a month ago I tried, and after 15 minutes, it started feeling like my left leg was getting set on fire." "It can take up to a year and a half for a severe herniated disc to heal properly, but it varies from person to person," he added. "So, we are crossing our fingers and praying that we won't have to cancel the U.S shows. Right now there's not much more we can do." Diamond got a taste of what might happen if he hits the road too soon in September when director Bill Schacht from video company Aestheticom — which has also worked with AMON AMARTH — shot a video for "Give Me Your Soul", the first KING DIAMOND clip in 17 years. "They limited what I had to do, of course, so I only did one day of shooting for 90 minutes, but just standing there moving a little bit in the full outfit was very difficult," he said. "And afterwards, I got one of those sharp attacks of pain that I hadn't had in a month and a half. The only thing I can compare it to is a really super-bad toothache or earache. And afterwards, I was like, 'OK, I'm not ready [to tour] yet.' " Regarding how he injured his back, the 51-year-old singer said, "I think the real damage happened mixing the record, because I did that three weeks straight for a minimum of 12 hours a day. One of the last nights, when I was going to bed, I felt these pains in the sciatic nerves on each side, and I thought, 'Oh what is this?' The next morning I woke up and I couldn't walk or stand. It was like being paralyzed. I can't begin to say how painful it was. They say that's the worst pain you can experience as a human being. Ja chekam da krenu na turneju kad ce da sviraju ceo "Kill, Fuck, Die" onda cu da se cimam i za Koreju ako treba Mislim, malko serkam, i ovo je extra privlachno..ali vec ima i u Srbiji dovoljno koncerata u narednom periodu, i to koji me zanimaju jel'te..

Hm...jel slushao bre neko novi album? Ja ga trenutno slusham..pa 4. il 5. put mi je..i ne mogu da ga svarim...tj. teshko ide...predugachke pesme, a malo riffova, previshe introa u pesmama...tj. svaka pesma ima od 45 sek do 2 minuta ulazenja i ulazenja..i onda kad treba da ga pocepa neki dobar riff uglavnom dodje nesto osrednje...i dosta riffova liche jedni na druge...ne znam. Za sada sam nezadovoljan. Worst Exodus album? Verovatno. Svidja mi se najvise "Children Of A Worthless God"..ali pesma ima ladno, pa neki ce reco emo vokal, ali u nedostatku boljeg izraza i ja cu ..dakle emo vokale na predrefrenu...chudan clean svejedno. Sta im je ono trebalo, nemam ideju. Ne volish Hirax? Ccc, ne zasluzuja tvoja usta da izgovaraju rech "old school"...

Ko je pratio Eurobasket sad u Shpaniji mogao je da chuje na poluvremenu/tajmautima/prekidima da preko razglasa pushtaju MDO i to "Fiesta Pagana" ako sene varam Znachi odushevih se kad sam chuo, i to jednom prilikom se publika bash bila uzivela i krenula da pljeska rukama uz pesmu..

Nyah je ovaj spot..jebesh ga, power spotovi u zadnjih nekoliko godina su im skoro isti ili na sl. fazon, bar one koje gledah...boring.

Kai dolazi za 3 nedelje, sve ostalo je nebitno. Anyway..slushah ovaj "Myths and legends..", i ima do jaja pesama: Future kings, We Are Not Separate, Snow(!!!), ali idosta nyanyavih pesama..mlogo..i plus oni radio editi chisto da se popuni prostor. Vredelo skinuti, ako nista drugo, bar zbog ove tri gore, a posebno bih bash ove zadnje dve voleo live da chujem! Extra pesme...trebale su da budu na albumima. And BTW "We Three Kings" je obrada klasichnog dela, ne?

Finnish metallers KALMAH have posted the following message on their MySpace page: "Two years has passed but as we promised there is more to come and now it is about time. Today [saturday, October 13] we started the recordings of our fifth full-length album. We started to work on new material almost two years ago and since we do not want to hurry it took the time to put every piece of the puzzle together. We have had great time to work with the new material as always. We did a demo a month ago to prepare ourselves for this main session. The demo worked out well and we are very confident about the new material. There is nine new swamp metal songs to record. Janne [Kusmin] has started to work out the drums and today we managed to record drum tracks for three new songs. Tomorrow we continue on working on the drums and we have six KALMAH songs to record plus one cover. Later on we will reveal the title of the album, song names, videos and images, so stay tuned!"

Veteran California thrashers HIRAX will co-headline Keep It True IX festival on Saturday, November 3, 2007 in Dittigheim, Germany. HIRAX will share the headliner slot with the original lineup of LEATHERWOLF. SACRED OATH, PAGAN ALTAR, STEEL ASSASSIN, PORTRAIT, and ENFORCER will round out the day of metal. The California thrashers played two successful shows last month in Germany and France with new second lead guitarist Tim Thomas, formerly of STEEL PROPHET and AGENT STEEL, as well as returning drummer Fabricio Ravelli. "The festival's promoter contacted us and offered HIRAX the co-headlining slot," said De Pena. "Needless to say, we're honored to do it because Keep It True is one of the MOST respected festivals in Europe. The opportunity to play in front of the German headbangers once again is something we take very seriously. They are truly DIEHARD! There is NO PLACE ON EARTH like Germany. HEAVY METAL IS THE LAW!!!" HIRAX's new EP, "Chaos and Brutality", will be released tomorrow throughout Europe on Poland's Selfmadegod Records. The four-song EP was recorded in February 2007 at Shiva Industries in California.
