Canada's technical metallers INTO ETERNITY are currently hard at work recording the follow-up to 2004's "Buried In Oblivion". Guitarist and mainman Tim Roth said, "This week Jim (Austin) finished tracking drums on six songs, and I'll start recording all the guitar parts Thursday. Hopefully I'll be done this weekend as we start recording Troy's bass on Monday and are shooting to get to vocals recorded by next weekend. All signs point towards an early fall release, if all goes well. I'd also like to say that the New England Metal And Hardcore Festival went great, and we got some great photos from that trip, check them and our photos with DRAGONFORCE out here. We also posted photos from our sold-out hometown show there as well. That'll have to tide you guys over until we get back on the road. See all of you later this year!"

Hm..prevrnuh 2 puta novi album i za sada sam blago razocharan...jbg mozda sam ochekivao previshe, ali izgleda da su se malo vec ispucali(nakon 3 fantastichna albuma)..ali poslusacu jos malo pa cu post-ovati opet mishljenje..album je mracniji, zvuk su malo promenili..i produkcija mi nije bas nesto legla...

po onome sto sam ja chuo kurac su smekshali nadjoh album na dC++...jedva chekam!!!!!!!1

haha..ja sam posle trcao za bus jedva ga savatao..legao blizu 1 ali zato nemam osecaj kada sam zaspao..tolko mi zujalo u ushima i jednostavno mi se nije spavalo..al zato kada sam ustao u 6 bio sam vec pokoshen umoran..i evo josh stojim :mrgeen:

Finland's TAROT, the group led by NIGHTWISH/ex-SINERGY bassist Marco Hietala, have just released their long-awaited new single, "You", in Finland. The single contains two tracks: A straight-forward classic heavy metal song "You", taken from the upcoming full-length TAROT album, and a BLUE ÖYSTER CULT cover, "Veteran of the Psychic Wars". The as-yet-untitled new TAROT album is expected to be released during the fall. TAROT recently released remastered versions of their first five studio albums along with the "To Live Again" live album previously released in Japan. Each CD includes special bonus track(s).

Former S.A. SLAYER and JUGGERNAUT vocalist Steve Cooper passed away in the early morning hours of May 14 at a San Antonio, Texas hospital from complications due to kidney failure. Cooper, who was diabetic, had been in ill health and on dialysis for several years prior to his untimely death. RIP!

METAL CHURCH have announced the track listing for their new album, "A Light in the Dark", due in Europe on May 29 (May 26 in Germany) via SPV and U.S. in early June. The album will include a new version of the classic "Watch the Children Pray" as a tribute to vocalist David Wayne, who passed away in May 2005. Guitarist Kurdt Vanderhoof, who doubled as sound engineer and producer during the recordings, promises an offering featuring all the important trademarks of typical METAL CHURCH tracks. "Before our new drummer Jeff Plate joined the band, I would have claimed that the new album will be a traditional heavy metal album through and through," he said. "Now I'm not so sure; we may end up experimenting with the odd unusual idea, but we'll stay within the framework defined by the band's history.
