E za Light In The Black svaka chast

Ja sam prezadovoljan. Mislim..album nije kao nista iz ranijeg perioda, ali je "lights year away" bolji i od Masterpisa i WOtW. "A Light In The Dark" je jedna od najboljih MC pesama zasigurno i kad gi gledam na leto nadacu se sa istom zestinom da otvore ili sa ovim ili "Ton Of Bricks". Dakle razbijachki dobri riffovi bre.. Od ostalih pesama izdvojio bih "Mirror Of Lies", ultimativna powerashka pesma. "Temple Of The Sea" traje 10 minuta ali je izuzetno dobra kompozicija, "Son Of The son" ima kul riff ali refren malo smori..Pill For The Kill takodje dobra, ali vrhunac albuma je "Watch The Children Pray" re-recording...znachi nema rechi da se ova pesma opishe i ova verzija je isto fantastichna kao i originalna samo sto je zvuk normalno bolji.. Dakle, stvarno odlichan MC effort..nisam ochekivao..

Long-running Canadian thrashers ANNIHILATOR have been forced to cancel their previously announced European tour, which was slated to kick off in July. In a posting on the band's official forum, mainman Jeff Waters wrote, "We were, of course, really looking forward to doing this tour but will unfortunately have to push it back to late 2006. We had planned on finishing up our new CD by tour time. However, the recording is taking longer than anticipated and some of the people involved in the recording/mixing are not avaliable after the tour. Swedish melodic death metallers DARK TRANQUILLITY have posted the following message on their official web site: "No updates for a while, but rest assured that we haven't been resting on our laurels. We're insanely busy with the songwriting for the next album, and it's now decided that the recordings will start in October. More details about studios (yes, that's in plural), working partners and so forth will follow as soon as everything is 100% confirmed. "As for the music itself, the material we're working on covers the whole gamut from laid back acoustic sections to furious blastbeats, so you can all look forward to a diverse and challenging offering. Most songs are still in the embryonic stages, so it'll be interesting to see how things develop. "Some media goodness to make the wait for the next magnum opus easier: A 15-minute video clip of our gig at the Fury Fest in France (June 25, 2005) has been uploaded to http://www.myspace.com/dtofficial . As usual with these homemade recordings, the quality itsn't stellar, but it gives a good enough representation of the show. Also, we found an old version of 'Away, Delight, Away' from an 8-track promo recording we did in our rehearsal studio back in the spring of 1994. This is an early incarnation of the song that differs slightly from the version that ended up on the 'Of Chaos and Eternal Night' MCD. The promo itself also contained 'Punish my Heaven' and 'The Gallery', and was sent out to a select few record labels and tape trading contacts."

Abigail@ To ti je mozda Gorgoroth 'pao u ocima' zbog "Incipit"a, ali u principu Twilight i ovaj album su izuzetno slicni, s tim sto je Add Majonez bez ikakvih "Will To Power"-"Excert Of X" sranja i vishe "straight-forward" nego prosli..ali opet dosta slican.

Pa onda ne bi bilo Dream Healera! A bolje je da ima vishe razlichitih pesama u odnosu na Skeletone.

Guitarists Larry Barragan and Rob Trevino from the "Remnants Of War"-era lineup of HELSTAR have revealed to LivingForMetal.com in a recent interview that the band is officially back together and that plans exist to record new material. The group's current lineup is completed by singer James Rivera (also in VICIOUS RUMORS, KILLING MACHINE), bassist Jerry Abarca and drummer Russell DeLeon. An excerpt from the chat follows: LivingForMetal.com: So would you say HELSTAR is officially back and you plan to record a new album and tour behind it? And what type of time frame do you anticipate that to happen? Larry: "Yeah, we are a band again. The plan is to record but there again you need a label to do that. Touring, I think will be sporadic. Rob and I make our money and support our families in the corporate world; really all of us have day gigs that quite frankly pay the bills better than anything we could make on the road. So when you hear of us doing a show you know we really wanted to do it because we are basically taking vacation time to play them." Rob: "We are officially a band again. It is up to the people, the fans, and the labels whether or not we continue on. If the interest is there, we will continue to record and do some touring. For me, I would really like to see us put out at least one more 'official' HELSTAR release for the fans who've asked for it all of these years." LivingForMetal.com: I know it's in the early stages but what can we expect to hear on the new HELSTAR album? How are the songs taking shape and how has your playing styles and skills changed over the years? Larry: "I don't practice as much as I used to but I was never really a shredder, you know. I've always tried to select my notes and make my solos interesting; that hasn't changed. I think my picking is a little bit better now. I think the new HELSTAR album will find us sounding a bit heavier but we won't forget our neoclassical roots." Rob: "I think it will sound like HELSTAR, only updated and with better production. I'd like to think that we can make something that will sound as heavy and dark as we know the band can sound. There will definitely be more aggression at times, but melody as well."
