08/03: MUSTAINE / DREAM THEATER / BELL / ALLEN ON STAGE!

Joining Dream Theater last night on satge at Nokia Live in Dallas were; Dave Mustaine of Megadeth, Burton C. Bell of Fear Factory, and Russell Allen of Symphony X. In honor of Darrell Abbott, the three joined Dream Theater for their encore song to play Pantera's Cemetary Gates. "...it was easily one of the highlights of the evening. The crowd sang along to every word and cheered through the rest of the song. It was a mixture of lighters and mosh pits, headbangers and singers. The feeling in the air during this one song was simply amazing. Labrie sang the clean parts, then Allen came out and did the first rough screams, and they harmonized on the chorus. Allen then left. Second verse was the same as Burton C. Bell came out to trade off with Labrie and they harmonized to the chorus again. Dave then came out played a blistering solo that had to have made Dimebag smile from Heaven. James finished the song, hitting every note perfectly, including the last 3 "Gates", and the arena just errupted. It was pure magic."

    Isto vazi i za odlicnu We'll Meet Again... Tu pesmu smo uvek koristili kao argument protiv novopecenih Pantera klinackih fanova... Respect za Power metal kao album, iako je bend otisao u desetom pravcu, ali isti je prepun odlicnih pesama.

    Da,da...Power metal je sjajan album,pogotovo naslovna pesma.Jebacki dobar uvodni riff.ALi sta drugo i ocekivati od Dime-a.

    Ma, nemam ja nista protiv novije Pantere, naprotiv, ali hocu reci da se velika kolicina nistarija uhvatila za taj bend, praveci se opasnima i brutalnima, a pljujuci po heavy metalu... A isti taj njihov omiljeni bend je to svirao nekad...

    najjace je ono.. slusam thrash, ja sam iskren, dao bi zivot Darelu da mogu.. i te fore, pa onda juris na Hamerfall, Bodome, Nighwish, ajmo na pljuvacinu jer smo mi opasni.

     

     

    jos da ljudi znaju da je svojevremeno Desmond Child (naravno, ovdje svi opasni pa i ne znaju ko je on) pjesmu Never Say Goodbye originalno napisao za Panteru, ali je nekim cudnim slucajem ista zavrsila na Bon Jovi albumu, Slippery biggrin.gificon_da.gificon_da.gif

     

    a Pantera je nekad vise izgledala glam nego pola Los Andjelesa biggrin.gificon_da.gif mislim da sam jednom postovala jednu njihovu smijesnu sliku (bili su smijesniji i od slayera u tim danima), ali nema sanse da je sad nadjem.. cu da vidim..

    da, desmond je napisao never say goodbye.. originalno za njih.. taj sam info provjerila na nekoliko mjesta, a uzgred - dok ne pitam licno desmonda, ili jon bon jovija - necu vjerovati laugh.gif

    salim se, ali o tome je jednom sam darel govorio.

    elem, kazu da ima jos nekih stvari koje je radio s Panterom, ali ih nije potpisao, po fazonu - samo im je pomogao jer su se nesto privatno zgotivili. nije tema o njemu ali bitno, tip je radio muziku za filmove s majkl kejmenom, i solo naravno (recimo shrek) a poznat je po saradnji sa Ricky Martin, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Hanson, Daryl Hall & John Oates, Cher , Kiss, Michael Bolton, Alice Cooper, Joan Jett, Robbie Williams, Iggy Pop, Bonnie Tyler, Ronnie Spector, Motley Crue, Skid Row, Pantera i jos brdo njih.

    takodje mi se povraca od price kako je desmond upropastio rock n roll i slicne govnarije.

    Fenomenalan bend, imaju neki svoj poseban fazon i to cenim. Zao mi je sto nisam imala priliku da ih cujem uzivo pre raspada... Najbolji radovi su mi Cowboys From Hell i Vulgar Display Of Power, mada mi se generalno sve manje - vise svidja icon_da.gif

    Jer od Far beyonda sve vise su prisutne neke neartikulisane pesme i deonice,neka disharmonija tipicna za pomenute pravce. Naravno pod nagovorom Anselma! icon_da.gif

     

    Volim ja sve od Pantere, samo kazem da mi se ovo najvise svidja, a i sto su duze svirali to su bolje svirali, mozda manje komercijalno i melodichno ali ipak bolje...

     

    Чини ми се да мислиш да се зајебавам. Ја ово најозбиљније причам!
