Odlaskom Koste Perovića u Golden Stejt i Predraga Drobnjaka u Djironu, centarska linija Partizana "spala" je na Nikolu Pekovića.

 

Iako su crno-beli "zakopčani" po pitanju pojačanja za predstojeću sezonu, "Sport" prenosi da bi klub iz Humske rado u svojim redovima voleo da vidi svog bivšeg igrača Ratka Vardu.

 

Informaciju o mogućem transferu dojučerašnjeg člana Reala u redove šampiona Srbije i Jadranske lige preneli su i španski mediji.

 

Ratko Varda je u Madrid stigao prošle sezone iz ukrajinskog Kijeva, ali je drugi deo sezone preskočio zbog operacije ukrštenih ligamenata. Nastupao je na 16 mečeva u ACB ligi i prosečno beležio pet poena i tri skoka.

 

Dvadesetosmogodišnji centar je u Partizanu igrao pet sezona - od 1996. do 2001. godine, kada je otišao u NBA ligu, gde je nastupao za Detroit i Vašington. Po povratku u Evropu igrao je za Olimpiju, grčku Patru, Bešiktaš, a zatim u Ukrajini i Španiji.

Mancini relishing OT debut

 

Despite a career played out at the highest level, Wednesday's trip to Manchester is full of firsts for Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini.

 

"I've never played in Old Trafford, nor against United," revealed the one-time Azzurri international. "So I'm delighted to come to a venue which has played a such an important part in the history of football."

 

And he's relishing a clash between the Serie A and Premier League champions. "It should be very exciting. United had a very good season last year and this game is very tough."

 

This is the third successive year the Nerazzurri have pitched up in England pre-season. "I love coming here," said Mancini, who ended his playing career at Leicester City. "All the games, even though they’re friendlies, have a proper football atmosphere, with big crowds and full stadiums."

 

The timing suits the Italians perfectly too: "English clubs always start their pre-season training earlier than we do, so it’s good to play against teams who are further ahead in their preparation. We need to get some real games in our legs, as we say in Italy."

Било би лепо да врате Партизан, али се сетите и Фејенорда који је прво добио три утакмице суспензије свог стадиона, а онда тек после жалбе искључен. Врло је могуће да ће и Партизану само да повећају новчану казну.
