"The first leg of the European tour with HELLOWEEN is over — time to have a few words with you. "First of all, let's not forget the brilliant emergency rescue action and playing of Alex [Landenburg; AT VANCE, ANNIHILATOR, MEKONG DELTA]. Thanks again for all what you did for the fans, the band and also for me. "Surely I hate the idea of somebody is sitting on 'my chair,' but this special action needed some special treatment and I am proud and happy that it was you, Alex. Thanks again; we'll get together for a real drink, not like these other Scandinavian pussies in the band :-) "I was overwhelmed by all the wishes, tons of emails and text messages I received from all over the world wishing me a speedy recovery. Thank you so much for supporting me, and it made me feel very strong when fighting these bastards inside of me. "I have some good news to tell you and believe me — I really enjoy to tell the world: "The surgery was done about six weeks ago and the first therapy is done as well. All looks good so far and as Jens [Johansson, STRATOVARIUS keyboardist] told me before: 'Do not worry, Jörg, nothing survives in your body after all what you did to it!' "Finally he was right, there are only small bits and bobs left — I will fight those with another therapy in about four months' time. "I think I have been very lucky that it was discovered by one of my friends in a very early state. Very good that my friend decided to become a doctor; he was very lousy when he tried playing the guitar. "Besides preparing myself for Christmas, I am currently practicing the drums to be ready and kickin' again when the tour continues in the New Year. I will be back. DBrave Posted January 2, 2011 Report post Posted January 2, 2011 zanimljivo, ja kad sam krenuo da slusam Strato neke 2001 recimo bio mi je prilicno odbojan, muzika do jaja sa nekim krestavim glasom koji mi je isao na kurac. Bio sam u fazonu kako bi bilo do jaja da rade instrumentale. Ali onda posle nekog vremena navikao sam se totalno na njegov glas, cak bi mi bilo zao da zamene pevaca. Ali opet ne mogu da slusam sve pesme na kojima peva. Inace isto mi je i sa Mejdenima, jednostavno koliko god ljudi da vole Dikinsona, ja na pola pesama ne mogu da ga slusam. A sto je smesnije, sve ovo pise lik koji ima Edguy na avataru, a zna se koliko tek ljudi ne moze da slusa Tobijev glas. Posted January 2, 2011 Report post Posted January 2, 2011 slažem se, ja sam samo izneo svoj najveći utisak po preslušavanju novog albuma, a posle dosta vremena od slušanja benda uopšte i to mi zaparalo uši, upravo ta priča -'muzika do jaja sa nekim krestavim glasom koji mi je isao na kurac. Koji je onda pravi naglasak, mislim britanski ili americki, koji je nastao puno kasnije od izvornog engleskog? Manite se ljudi naglasaka, ako je muzika u redu onda je sve u redu. Ja licno sam poceo Statovarius negde 1996 i jos mi nije dosadio njegov naglasak i mislim da je odlican pevac iako zadnji albumi nisu bas nesto. Nema to veze sa Tolkki-jem ionako mi ide na k... Breakthru Posted January 2, 2011 Report post Posted January 2, 2011 Tobi > Fabio > Kotipelto Inace svi su jako dobri, Kotipelto je ipak malo slabiji i ne spada u vrh power metal pevaca, ali ipak neke pesme jednostavno dobro zvuce s njegovim suvim glasom. Danas ga preslusah, nisam neki fan Stratovariusa, ali mi se ovaj album vise svidja od Polarisa Bas je fino legao. Pravi poweraj Under Flaming Skies je definitivno pesma koja je veoma catchy (malo me potseca na neku pesmu Kamelota, ali nbt ). Infernal Maze ima smoran intro, prava pesma od 1:20 pocinje. A bedak za Kotipelta, mada to nije strasno. Night Prowler Posted January 15, 2011 Report post Posted January 15, 2011 Otkazali 2 koncerta, juce u Bilbau ipak svirali: odsvirali 3 pesme (Kotipelto uzasno pevao zbog bolesti), onda svako odsvirao svoju solo tacku i onda se Kotipelto vratio i "otpevao" jos 3 pesme.
