Koji si ti kult kad imas to, mada sto je najgore mozda bih i uzeo disk zbog starih dobrih vremena. Inace, meni se taj njihov pristup dojmi na neki cudan nacin, jeste da su neoriginalni do bola i ponekad smesno / sramotni ali volim takav zvuk a oni na svakom albumu imaju po nekoliko pesama koje su mi super, sto ih cini jednom odlicnom predgrupom za GR (sto im je krajnji domet po meni). FREEDOM CALL has already found a replacement drummer and plans on making an announcement soon. According to a press release, "stylistically, 'Legend Of The Shadowking' is a successful liaison of the group's basic strengths and new, contemporary influences." Or, as Dan Zimmermann puts it, "Even if the two predecessors, 'The Circle Of Life' and 'Dimensions', took very different directions, both albums had a number of strong moments. 'Legend Of The Shadowking' combines the most successful elements from both albums. In other words, we included our penchant for fast and very melodic numbers from 'Dimensions' with the more contemporary, bombastic components of 'The Circle Of Life'." The fourteen new numbers were recorded at the FC studios in Nuremberg, while the drum parts were cut at the Area 51 in Celle by Dan Zimmermann with the help of Tommy Newton (HELLOWEEN, UFO, VICTORY), who also mixed and mastered the effort. The cover artwork was designed by the young Bavarian artist Jens Reinhold. "Legend Of The Shadowking" is said to be a concept album about Ludwig II, King of Bavaria. He had a close connection to the composer Richard Wagner. FREEDOM CALL was moved and inspired by King Ludwig's extravagance and his passion for musical theatricality. DBrave Posted February 13, 2010 Report post Posted February 13, 2010 Ultravox ima pesme koje dusu daju da ih obrade power metalci Freedom Call je fantasticno odradio Dancing with tears in my eyes (neuporedivo bolje od Avantasie), ali zato je i Edguy takodje fantasticno uradio Hymn na Vaing Glory Opera, to je takodje pesma Ultravoxa... Moram jednom da skinem neki njihov best-off, mada su se vrteli dosta na tv-u, pa znam neke pesme... One 2 Merlin pesme su fenomenalne, a i ove ostale su prilicno dobre, samo sto se 2 Merlina bas izdvajaju. Nastavicu da vrtim album dok god mi ne dosadi. Jako je dobar! NatashaNS Posted February 26, 2010 Report post Posted February 26, 2010 (edited) Vidim da niko nije pisao utiske sa koncerta ovde. E ovako, ja sam odusevljena Freedom Call-om! Mis'im, volela sam ih i pre koncerta, al' stvarno su fenomenalni live i to je jedan od bendova koje zelim sto pre videti opet, definitivno! Pevac je jako cool lik, prijatan za razgovor, dobar skroz, ima prelep glas, ostali u bendu super sviraju, stvarno jedan fenomenalan bend! Pesme su im divne, i ono sto su izveli live je odlicno, samo mi je definitivno falila "Merlin - Legend Of The Past". To se nadam da cu cuti sledeci put, imam deal sa Chrisom (pevacem) da sviraju to sledeci put kad dodju, a to ce verovatno biti nikad. Sve u svemu, ja sam prezadovoljna, oni su mi definitivno usli u top 10 omiljenih bendova.
