CARPATHIAN FOREST, KEEP OF KALESSIN To Team Up For European Tour CARPATHIAN FOREST and KEEP OF KALESSIN will be teaming up for a European tour beginning on April 22 in Aarhus, Denmark. Exact cities and dates will be announced soon. Season of Mist has yet to announce a release date for the new CARPATHIAN FOREST album, which the band have been working on for the past few months.

AS I LAY DYING: Early Recordings To Be Reissued AS I LAY DYING will be re-releasing their first two recordings, previously out on Pluto Records. "Both 'Beneath The Encasing Of Ashes', which was recorded two months after the band started, and our split EP songs, which were recorded a year later, will both be on one CD (Metal Blade Records)," the band write. A May release is expected. AS I LAY DYING's sophomore album, "Shadows Are Security", has sold 174,000 copies in the United States since its June 14, 2005 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

GORGOROTH Begin Recording Vocals For New Album Norwegian black metallers GORGOROTH have posted the following update on their official web site: "Gaahl has now entered the studio in Bergen to record vocals for GORGOROTH's upcoming album, 'Ad Majorem Satanhas Gloriam'. The release date of the album is not decided yet, but it is expected to be released within few months. "In other news, 'Procreating Satan', the opening track from [2003's] 'Twilight of the Idols', has been remixed by Zardonic (electronic artist and producer). http://www.venet.com.ve/gorepriest/audio/g...onic_remix).mp3 GORGOROTH reportedly recorded several shows on their recent European tour with 1349 for an upcoming live album, entitled "True Norwegian Black Metal". Scheduled for a late autumn release in 2007, it will mark and celebrate GORGOROTH's 15-year anniversary. GORGOROTH's new album, "Ad Majorem Sathanas Gloriam", is tentatively scheduled for release later in the year via Sweden's Regain Records. The band were most recently signed to Nuclear Blast Records, who released the band's last three efforts: "Twilight of the Idols" (2003), "Incipit Satan" (2000) and "Destroyer" (1998). GORGOROTH's first three albums — "Pentagram" (1994), "Antichrist" (1996) and "Under the Sign of Hell" (1997) — were re-released last year in a remastered, digipack version via the French label Season of Mist.

Storm (Rustflower Inc. tornado mix) THEATRE OF TRAGEDY's new album, "Storm", will be released in Germany and Switzerland on Friday, March 24 via AFM Records. The rest of Europe will follow on Monday, March 27. A U.S. release date will be announced later. The CD was produced by Rico Darum and mixed by Greg Reely (PARADISE LOST, FEAR FACTORY, FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY, SKINNY PUPPY, etc.) at The Green Jacket studios in Richmond, B.C., Canada. COMMUNIC To Enter Studio Next Week Norwegian progressive/power metal band COMMUNIC, who feature in their ranks ex-SCARIOT members Oddleif Stensland (vocals) and Tor Atle Andersen (drums), will enter Hansen studios in Ribe, Denmark on February 3 to begin recording their sophomore album, entitled "Waves of Visual Decay". MISERY INDEX Sign With RELAPSE RECORDS Relapse Records has announced the signing of MISERY INDEX. MISERY INDEX are currently recording their as-yet-untitled Relapse debut full-length in Atlanta, GA with producer/engineer Eyal Levi. Some early track titles include "Conquistadores", "Outsourcing Jehovah", "Breathing Pestilence", "Dystopian Nightmares" and "Meet Reality". A May 2006 release is expected. The Baltimore-based quartet is comprised of founder Jason Netherton (bass, vocals), John "Sparky" Voyles (guitar), Adam Jarvis (drums) and Mark Kloeppel (guitar). MISERY INDEX have previously released the critically-acclaimed full-length "Retaliate" via Nuclear Blast as well as several independent releases through their own Anarchos record imprint.
