ROTTING CHRIST Record Live Album Legendary Greek death metallers ROTTING CHRIST performed two live shows in the city of Larissa, Greece, which have been recorded for their first live release. The pioneers of the Greek metal scene put on two special two-hour shows featuring songs covering their entire catalog. These live shows were held on February 3-4 at Blive Music House in Larissa, and were the only concerts to be recorded for the upcoming CD. The shows mark the band's 18 years in the metal scene and fans from around the world are expected to attend. The band also played a very special concert consisting exclusively of material from their first three albums — "Passage To Arcturo" (1989), "Thy Mighty Contract" (1992) and "Non Serviam" (1994) - on January 14, 2006 at An Club in Athens, Greece. ROTTING CHRIST's "Passage To Arcturo" and "Non Serviam" albums were reissued last month with bonus audio and video tracks via Season of Mist.

"Soul In A Hole", the first-ever DVD release from MORTIIS is packed full of exclusive interviews, videos and a full live set filmed during MORTIIS' mammoth seven-week European tour in support of "The Grudge" album. THRESHOLD: 'Surface To Stage' Live Album Artwork Posted Online U.K. progressive metallers THRESHOLD are hoping to release their new live CD, "Surface To Stage", in time for their live performance next month at the ProgPower UK festival. "Surface to Stage" was recorded at Z7 in Pratteln, Switzerland during THRESHOLD's "Subsurface" tour in 2004 and it marks the first time that the band have released such epic tracks as "The Art of Reason", "Into The Light" and "Echoes Of Life" in a live format. The album will be sold direct to the fans through the THRESHOLD web site, www.thresh.net, in the same way as the "Replica" album was released in 2004. THRESHOLD will perform at the U.K.'s first-ever ProgPower UK festival on March 25, building on the success of the festival franchise in the U.S. and central Europe. Swedish metallers EVERGREY are currently filming the video for the track "Monday Morning Apocalypse" with director Patric Ullaeus of Revolver Film Company (DIMMU BORGIR, CHILDREN OF BODOM, LACUNA COIL). The song is the title cut of the band's upcoming sixth studio album, due on April 4 via InsideOut Music. The follow-up to 2004's "The Inner Circle" was recorded at Division One Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden by the experienced production team of Sanken Sandquist and Stefan Glaumann, who have previously worked with such artists as RAMMSTEIN, BON JOVI, BRITNEY SPEARS and DEF LEPPARD. Other songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Unspeakable" and "At a Loss for Words".

OSI (OFFICE OF STRATEGIC INFLUENCE), the project featuring FATES WARNING guitarist Jim Matheos, ex-DREAM THEATER keyboardist Kevin Moore, DREAM THEATER drummer Mike Portnoy and FATES WARNING/ARMORED SAINT bassist Joey Vera, have set "Free" as the tentative title of their sophomore album, due in Germany on March 31 via InsideOut Music.
