Pepper Keenan-bog. Wiseblood možda ima jednu od najmudovitijih produkcija u gitarskoj muzici ikada. Omiljena pesma mi je Congratulations Song koju sam izvrteo stotinama puta. Radnaskela Posted September 25, 2011 Report post Posted September 25, 2011 Meni je zato deliverence deset puta lošiji od wiseblood-a. Mnogi seku na taj album dok je meni prosek, čak bezveze. Ima dve tri pesme koje su mi kul, sve ostalo mi je smor. Meni, za sada, omiljeni COC albumi su Wiseblood i Blind. Ne sećam se ko je rekao malo pre ali stvarno...wiseblood ima mudo od produkcije i zvuči masivno a zato blind je prženje za sve pare . Angelystor Posted September 25, 2011 Report post Posted September 25, 2011 (edited) Sa C.O.C.-om sam tek od skora krenuo da se upoznajem, tj. vec sam se dobrano upoznao, pa da se ubacim i ja sa kojom... Right to the point, "Blind" mi je nesto najvrednije sto su uradili. Jedna silna i nadmocna albumcina Bez problema u top100 metal albuma ikada (siroko je polje), bez nekog ranga naravno... Kofa thrasha u koju su cedjeni razni heavy, doomy, sludgy i ko zna kakvi sve vise sundjeri...i povrh toga Hetfield na vokalu :] Ne bas, ali zna da podseti... Najgore sto Pepper 'ajde i nema toliko glas koji podseca na Jamesa, ali jebes ga, peva mi k'o on. Od pesama bih naveo samo "These Shrouded Temples..."/"Damned For All Time" kombo, jedan od retkih slucajeva u metalu da intro i prva pesma tako jebeno dobro pasuju, bukvalno mi nezamislivo cuti Damned bez onog pocetka. Dobri su mi i "Deliverance" i "Wiseblood", ali za svaki vazi da slabiji od prethodnog (vec WBloodu ni 8/10 ne bih dao), AVD mi bas slab...i onda dolazimo do "In The Arms Of God", sa svojim monster riffovima, koji mi po kvalitetu upada negde izmedju Blind i Deliverance. Do besvesti ga vrteh u paru sa Mastodonom u vozu, odlican kombo. A da, i "Animosity" je kul cross-thrasherica, ali mi nekako bas ispada iz price u odnosu na ostatak. I bas im gledah neke setliste skorasnje, sad pice ceo taj uzivo, malo sta iz '90tih pa sam zbunjen overall desavanjima u bendu trenutno... Kako bilo, jos jedan bend koji mi upada u grupu 'gde sam bio sta li sam ja radio kada sam ovo propustao do sada' bendova. History repeats itself... excel fan Posted September 25, 2011 Report post Posted September 25, 2011 Bend moje mladosti,nije bilo klinca osamdesetih bilo da sluša metal ili hardcore a da se nije ložio na C.O.C.!Meni lično je ipak Blind njihov daleko najbolji album,album na kome nema nijedna loša stvar,sad ce mnogi da me ispljuju ali je taj album po meni bolji od crne Metallice,upoređujem ta dva albuma jer su izašli u sličnom periodu a i imaju u aranžmanima neke sličnosti!Naravno Blind je agresivniji!Sve u svemu iz hardcore faze Animosity a iz njihove nove faze Blind!Neko se pita zašto sviraju samo stare albume,odgovor se sam nameće,revival tog starog crossovera je uveliko u toku i mnogi stari bendovi iz tog perioda su se ponovo oformili sa ciljem da uzmu još neku kintu dok mogu,pa zašto bi onda i C.O.C bili budale,po meni nema nekog drugog objašnjenje! Recorded at Dave Grohl's Studio 606 in Northridge, California, the CD was produced by the band in cooperation with longtime collaborator John Custer. It was mixed by John Lousteau (FOO FIGHTERS) and features artwork by Seldon Hunt (MELVINS, HIGH ON FIRE). "Corrosion Of Conformity" will be available on standard CD, deluxe digipak, and two exclusive vinyl formats. Featuring the esteemed "Animosity" lineup of vocalist/bassist Mike Dean, guitarist Woody Weatherman, and drummer/vocalist Reed Mullin, CORROSION OF CONFORMITY's album closes a six-year recording gap and completes over a year of concentrated writing and recording for the band. Reflecting on the past year and the album's recording process, Dean notes, "We tracked the songs at Studio 606, then headed for Europe, toured the U.S., and returned to Europe. We then did some vocals at home in North Carolina. but not where we originally planned; the studio was flattened by a system of spring tornadoes. We made our way back to 606 about seven months later and mixed twelve songs in ten days. The whole time we were out there, we were living in the onion fields of Ventura County and had to drive over the Santa Susana Pass to the San Fernando Valley every day. That was some fuel intensive time to reflect." He added, "As a whole, the album was an inspired and efficient collaboration. "John Custer told me he thought we were all working together as one organism; which is an apt description." "Corrosion Of Conformity" features eleven new songs, with the deluxe digipak and vinyl formats set to include two additional tracks. Vinyl collectors will want to seek out both formats of the record; the European configuration is confirmed as a double 180-gram clear vinyl, and the American version will feature a single 180-gram black-and-white splatter vinyl with a limited seven-inch single which will include the album's bonus songs. Both versions will feature a gatefold sleeve. Comments Dean: "We like the idea of pressing this music on vinyl because so much of our inspiration comes from music that precedes the digital era. It's also cool to have that large format for the artwork and the lyrics and the credits. It's such a tangible physical product you can hold in your hands.
