In April 2008, Nine Inch Nails posted several photos on Flickr showing the band in a recording studio. American radio stations began playing a new Nine Inch Nails song entitled "Discipline", which contains lyrics, on April 22, 2008. It was mastered by Alan Moulder less than 24 hours prior to this.

    o boze - cemu toliko frljanje sa nedovoljno razradjenom muzikom? Trebao bi malo da sedne i razmisli pre nego sto opet izbaci nesto poput Ghosts I-IV. Mozda je to fin experiment i mozda su se oni lepo narakijali tokom snimanja ali takvi albumi definitivno degradiraju bend koji vec stoji na staklenim nogama sto se ideja tice.
