Mislim da se nisam setila bas tog dana. Godisnjica je bila onaj dan kad je bio HammerFall "meet & greet". Au, čoveče... ne verujem da je već toliko prošlo od kako je svet ostao bez jednog od najboljih vokala ikada... A taj koncert sa Wemblyja je odlican!!! Mogla bih ga i ja opet pogledati ovih dana. Kako se zove taj koncert da ga skinem? "The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert for AIDS Awareness" je puno ime, al' mozes ga traziti pod imenom "The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert". Osim "Queen Real Tribute", poznati su i po nazivu "Ben Hur". Inače skoro svi muzičari u bendu su sarađivali sa nekim mainstream izvođačima u zemlji, ali imaju veza i sa metalom, pevač je bio u Demoniac-u, gitarista je iz Rapid Force-a npr. P.S. Pevac (Ljubo) ima jako slican glas Freddiejevom, a gitarista istu gitaru kao May. Dobro, to i pise u nom textu koji je crusader ostavio, al' ako krenete da gledate ovaj snimak sa youtube-a koji je, takodje, crusader ostavio, cucete na pocetku isti glas kao Freddiejev, dok peva "One Vision". Jednom sam ih gledao u LivingRoom-u, a drugi put na velikoj festivalskoj bini na otvorenom i ne mogu reci koji nastup je bio bolji. Besprijekorno skidaju Queen-ov repertoar, plus sto Ljubo Marjanovic odlicno imitira Freddieve pokrete - odlican tribute band. The pair was close during the early days of the band, but the legendary guitarist insists he had no inclination of Mercury's homosexuality. He tells Britain's Daily Express, "No, I didn't know. I don't think even he was fully cognizant in the beginning. "You're talking to someone who shared rooms with Fred on the first couple of tours, so I knew him pretty well. I knew a lot of his girlfriends and he certainly didn't have boyfriends, that's for sure. I think there was a slight suspicion, but it never occurred to me that he was gay." And even when the frontman, who died in 1991, had come to terms with his sexual orientation, he became well versed at avoiding the issue when asked directly. May adds, "I remember Freddie being asked if he was gay in one of his early interviews and he said: 'Yes, darling, of course. I'm as gay as a daffodil'. It was a neat way of sidestepping the issue because actually, Freddie was no fool. "I know that all through his life Fred didn't think that whether he was gay or not was important. He loved music, he love his work, and he didn't want anything to get in the way. Anyone who portrays Fred as purely a gay story is missing a lot of the point."
