Ako je na trenutnom prog. forumu tema o King Crimson zasto se tu onda ne bi nasao i Pink Flyd,Yes,Asia,Marillion,Genesis,Kansas... SAV PROGRESSIVE NA JEDAN FORUM ! Dobra strana je sto je celo pakovanje dosta jeftino (ovde kosta koliko bilo koja Meshugga, oko 15 EUR) a ipak je 2CD+DVD u kutiji Losa strana je sto je celo pakovanje dosta jeftino, tj. booklet nije bog zna koliki, nije digipack vec dve plasticne kutije , fontovi su seljacki k'o na REX izdanjima, meni DVD-a je izgleda k'o da ga je neko dete pravilo... Produkcija nije preterano bolja, ali nije mnogo falilo ni originalnoj Nije mi tu moj original Fates Warning mp3 disk, pa da uporedim Bonus CD sadrzi pilot demo albuma od tri pesme + live snimke sa turneje. DVD me solidno razocarao jer je los bootleg. Pise da je to, koliko oni znaju, jedini video zapis sa te turneje Ipak moze da se gleda, recimo da je za nijansu losiji od onog Symphony X - Live In Montreal boot-a, a vec znacajno bolji od onog Labyrinth bootlega sto kruzi Srbijom U bookletu DVD-a je i dirljiv text iz pera Mike Portnoy-a koji me u poslednje vreme prijatno iznenadjuje Edited August 9, 2005 by Marko, Mon_a[MOR]e Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

VIEW FROM HERE Kolekcija video spotova kao i live snimci + dokumentarac sa snimanja albuma Parallels i Daisconected. LIVE IN ATHENS Najzad ga odgledah i prvi utisak je da su u Sofiji (kada sam ih gledao) dan dva pre odrzali ipak bolji koncert. I opet mi nije jasno zasto su samo za taj nastup uklonili Trough different eyes a ubacili Nothing left to say. Marko, Mon_a[MOR]e Posted April 1, 2006 Report post Posted April 1, 2006 Bas sam, trazeci neke torrente, naleteo na odlicnu recenziju Disconnected FATES WARNING Disconnected Massacre Records "Disconnected" continues in the vein of "A Pleasant Shade of Grey," complemented by an industrial feel, aggressive guitar sound, and direct songwriting. The sluggishness of the previous album is prevalent, and it becomes nearly intolerable in "So", which - being the second song after the intro and lasting for a long 8 minutes - puts a rather unwieldy stamp on the whole album (this is actually the track I personally have the most troubles with). The songs on Disconnected, particularly the four-minute, groovy, streamlined, and aggressive "One" and "Pieces of Me," are close to the modern heavy rock standards set by US commercial radio stations. Now, "streamlined" in Fates Warning's book doesn't come too close to A Perfect Circle or Godsmack, and even the two mentioned songs sound as subtle and elegant as everything else guitarist Jim Matheos touches. However, even with some of the most aggressive material in Fates Warning history, the album doesn't sound as energetic as their earlier material. There is enough progressiveness in it, taking in mind the 10-minute "Something from Nothing" and the 16-minute "Still Remains," but there is a lack of what Fates Warning perhaps inevitably lost after "Parallels." Jim Matheos may not feel fond of "Awaken the Guardian" and "No Exit" anymore, but with these albums (as well as with "Perfect Symmetry" and "Parallels") Fates Warning tried to prove that they were the best band in the world. gavrosaurus Posted June 5, 2006 Report post Posted June 5, 2006 Један од, мени, најомиљенијих метал бендова. Нисам фан њихове фазе пре "Parallels" албума али сам зато већином након њега одушевљен! Какве сам само халуцинације доживљавао уз "A Pleasant Shade of Gray" и "Disconnected" ... Један од најмоћнијих бендова у металу када се слуша са слушкама, дефинитивно. Као креативни врх доживљавам "Disconnected" где је заиста свака нота, сваки звук врло пажљиво одмерен. Албум након њега већ представља пад али нисам разочаран јер је његовог предходника заиста тешко надмашити. Свакако један од топ atmospheric-ambient-prog metal бендова који су се икада појавили.
