LAA PREDSTAVLJA: 40 godina Melvinsa u Zagrebu! Tvornica kulture, Zagreb // 14. lipnja 2023. Jedan od najutjecajnijih i najglasnijih bendova američke nezavisne scene svih vremena, neuništivi Melvins, dolaze u Tvornicu kulture 14. lipnja 2023. u sklopu turneje kojom obilježavaju 40 godina rada. Novi susret ovdašnje publike i Melvinsa nakon gostovanja 2015. dogodit će se tijekom njihove europske turneje na kojoj promoviraju i prošlogodišnji, 25. studijski album „Bad Mood Rising“. Nakon 40 godina bend i dalje predvode mitska figura underground scene, gitarist i pjevač Buzz Osborne te bubnjar Dale Crover uz koje je od 2015. basist Steven Shane McDonald. Mada su inicijalno započeli kao hardcore punk grupa njihov zvuk se kroz desetljeća mijenjao i širio jer su šarali od sludge i alter metala, noisea, grungea, stoner, eksperimentalnog i jazz rocka, pa sve do avangardne glazbe. Ipak, možda najveća ostavština je dubok utjecaj na stvaranje i razvitak grungea, pa ih tako u svoje glazbene uzore stavljaju divovi poput Nirvane i Soundgardena, ali i mnoštvo drugih bendova iz Seattlea. Melvins su snažno dobacili i do drugih žanrova, pa ih na popis svojih utjecaja stavljaju bendovi kao što su Tool, Sleep, Sunn O))), Mastodon, Lamb Of God, Isis, ali i glazbenici kao što su Mike Patton ili vokal Slipknota Corey Taylor. Za Melvinse je 90-tih bila poznata izreka da je svatko tko je bio na njihovom koncertu dan kasnije kupio gitaru i osnovao band. Ipak, u odnosu na većinu izvođača iz Seattlea oduvijek su ostali duboko zakopani u undergroundu, van bilo kakvih komercijalnih struja, ali naoružani zidom buke koji s godinama samo dobiva na čvrstini. Takvo je i novo izdanje, hvaljeni „Bad Mood Rising“ na kojem su, u 14 minuta dugačkoj „Mr Dog Is Totally Right“ ugostili Dylana Carslona iz grupe Earth. Ulaznice za koncert grupe Melvins u prodaju kreću u petak, 10. veljače u 10:00 po cijeni od 20 Eur. Od 12. ožujka do 13. lipnja cijena ulaznica će iznositi 23 Eur, a na dan koncerta 26 Eur. Kupiti se mogu u Dirty Old Shopu, Rockmarku, Dallas Music Shopu Rijeka, na svim prodajnim mjestima i online na Eventim.hr.

I dan danas tvrdim jedna od boljih core svirki, svi znojavi i bez vazduha u nekadasnjoj maloj sali SKC. A ni predgrupe nisu bile lose, osim svinjokoljasa 😄

I izbunarih i ovo: Jako draga svirka, steta sto se Barney sjebao pri kraju pa su ili posle brzo odlozili ostatak turneje ili sta se vec desilo. Ali ova slova sto gore, graficki dizajn par ekselans!

The producer and keyboardist Sinisa Mladenovic founded the project "Tippstrip" in 2014, and started in 2017.
