According to a press release, "Demonoir" is "without a shadow of a doubt 1349's darkest, most sinister and brutal work to date, and in this case it comes to mean that the band has gone from the utterly extreme to the genre-expanding and mindboggling. Black metal cannot, and will never be the same. "For the band's fifth full-length release, 1349 decided to suck out the fiercest and most potent energies from every single member and surroundings, channeling it into songs that are pulsating with uncanny atmospheres, rawness and nerve-shattering intensity. The whole process of getting the material on record was like one long, exhausting black magic summoning that could not be allowed to go wrong." "Demonoir" will be available in three different versions: * Regular CD * Limited digipack version with special artwork, including a bonus CD with cover versions. * Double 180-gram vinyl in gatefold sleeve. oʞɾoƃ Posted February 23, 2010 Report post Posted February 23, 2010 A ti si mi pa muzički eklektičan u pičku materinu Inače, postoje glasine da je pola ovog albuma bilo iskomponovano još pre nego što se Revelations pojavio, ali da su hteli da ispune obaveze prema Candlelightu, pa da onda izbace brzo novi album za Indie. Prvo, ovo je pravi naslednik Hellfire - ne zvuči kao Hellfire 2, a ideje sa Revelationsa su upotrebljene kako valja - kao interludes između pesama (slično načinu na koji to radi Necros Christos). U svakom slučaju, brzo je, brutalno je, atmosferično je, sveže zvuči (ne liči direktno ni na jedan prethodni album), mnogo se stvari dešava na albumu i biće ovo jedno vrlo dobro izdanje Kao da se Revelations nikad nije desio.
