    "Blessed Are The Sick", the seminal death metal classic by MORBID ANGEL, will be reissued by Earache Records in the U.S. as a special DualDisc format redux edition on October 20 (July 27 in Europe).

     

    MORBID ANGEL's second album, "Blessed Are The Sick" was originally released in 1991 and is widely regarded as one of the most important death metal releases of all time. This essential album is now due to be re-released in a deluxe, multi-panel digipack with the album on one side of the disc and an exclusive bonus DVD on the other side. The DVD side contains a brand new, exclusive one-hour documentary featuring interviews with the band and crew discussing the recording and release of the album, and highlighting the band's rise from underground heroes to worldwide flag-bearers for the death metal scene.

     

    To celebrate this important release, a special limited-edition picture disc LP will also be issued, marking the first time the album has been available on this format.
