We are proud to announce that "Ire Works" will be coming out on November 13th, and that we will be embarking on our first North American headlining tour since Dec 2005 in October. All dates will be posted as they are confirmed, some are up now. Support will come from A Life Once Lost, Genghis Tron, and Behold...The Arctopus.

It looks as though Meshuggah pulled the plug on the bands previously announced European run with The Dillinger Escape Plan. Here's what The Dillinger Escape Plan had to say on the matter:

"Due to circumstances not in our control, and I'll leave it up to the other band on the tour to explain this one, The Dillinger Escape Plan/Meshuggah European tour in November WILL NOT be happening. If you bought tickets, contact whoever you bought them from for a refund. Again, if I started to comment on this right now it would probably not be good, so I'll leave it up to them to do the explaining. We were looking forward to this more than any of you can imagine and we are just as disappointed as anyone. HOWEVER, we ARE in the process of confirming a new great tour during the same time period, most likely in the same cities, and will announce it shortly. Stay tuned."

The Dillinger Escape Plan will release their new album "Ire Works" through Relapse on November 13th.

THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN has completed work on their long-awaited new full-length album, Ire Works.

 

THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN (Ben Weinman - guitar, Liam Wilson - bass, Greg Puciato - vocals, Gil Sharone - drums, and Jeff Tuttle - guitar) recorded Ire Works with long-time engineer Steve Evetts at Evetts-- Omen Room Studios in Los Angeles , CA . The band has unveiled the first preview track and album opener Fix Your Face exclusively via the bands MySpace: www.MySpace.com/DILLINGERESCAPEPLAN.

 

Ire Works-- complete track-listing is as follows: Fix Your Face(featuring guest vocals by Dimitri Minakakis), Lurch, Black Bubblegum, Sick On Sunday, When Acting As A Wave, Nong Eye Gong, When Acting As A Wave, 82588, Milk Lizard, Party Smasher, Dead As History, Horse Hunter(featuring guest vocals by Brent Hinds of Mastodon), and Mouth Of Ghosts. So...yeah...the new European tour dates are up. WE'RE STILL COMING. Sorry for all the confusion. It's just gonna be a DEP headlining deal now instead of the Meshuggah co-headliner deal, but we're bringing Stolen Babies and two more gnarly openers with us that we'll announce soon, shit'll be '87 for sure. See you there, just in case you're wondering where Dimitri's guest vocals are in Fix Your Face, he and I are saying the same thing at the same time from 2:04 til the end. Little guy named Dimitri Minakakis, fronted a little band named The Dillinger Escape Plan from 97-mid 01, you should probably do yourself a favor and check him out if you're a noob. We actually needed to leave the room because the mic caught on fire from the fury and homoeroticism of me and him being up on it together Boys 2 Men style. Shit got a little weird for a minute...pretty sure we almost kissed. We'll give you another update soon with the names of the European openers, and we'll probably leak another song within a month or so. Thanks for all the positive comments on Fix Your Face, that song's only the tip of the iceburg so we're glad you all dig it. 22 days til the first DEP headlining tour since December 05......be ready.

Kako su "opushteni" dillingeri za sviranje...sve je prilicno prosto osim timinga naravno gde je i glavna caka...ja sam ocekivao neke prezajebane akorde,nenormalne prelaze i ta neka sranja...ono nikad prostije sheme samo slideovanje napred nazad...tribute anyone?
