scissors Posted December 2, 2002 Report post Posted December 2, 2002 pa slična im je mjuza sa In Flames-om, pa sad ne znam možda i jesu i kopirali, a možda su se "samo" potrefili sa mjuzom pošto sam čuo prvo In Flames, onda mi oni liče na njih, vokal, a i mjuza... mada mogu reći da mi se Soilwork mnogo više sviđa gledajuću muziku a: a: mnogo su im potpuniji i ljepši aranžmani, a da imaju i elemenata... hmm... ne mogu reći baš nu-metala, ali modernog metala... kombinacija od melodic death-a, do nekog nu/crossover metala, pa ima malo i alternativnijih pristupa i tako toga - sve u svemu jedan jako dobar album a: p.s. Soilwork će ući 16. decembra u Queenstreet Recording studio u Helsingborgu radi snimanja svog novog, petog po redu albuma. Za sada je nepoznat naziv albuma, a predviđa se da će album ugledati svijetlo dana krajem proljeća 2003. Bend će u ovom studiju snimiti sve klavijature i gitare, da bi onda otišli u Dug-Out Recording studio radi snimanja bubnjeva i na kraju u Studio Fredman u kojem će snimiti bas i vokale i gdje će se izvršiti finalni mix. Prema bendu pjesme bi trebale da budu slične kao na njihovom prošlom albumu "Natural Born Chaos", ali sa mnogo boljom produkcijom, sa više energije i boljim refrenima. U Follow The Hollow prosto ne mozes da pohvatas sta sve lik radi... Sve u svemu Soilwork je ipak bolji band... Izasao je jos jedan album posle NBC i moram ga imati!!! Da li ga je neko cuo? fiction Posted July 6, 2003 Report post Posted July 6, 2003 NaOdlican album.Naslovna pjesma me malo podsjeca na Static X 8O Klavijature vise nemaju onu atmosferu sa prva tri ali sve u svemu ok album.Sto se tice novog nisam ga jos uvijek nabavio ali ima vremena. P:S. Nema mesta prici ko su bolji muzicari,In Flames je za klasu ispod,uporedite sami pevace i bubnjare,a i gitariste... I josh kad Dev radi produkciju i izvrishti na josh ponekoj jebanje keve! A kasnije sam cuo i ostale albume(starije) koji su mnogo brutalniji i opet bolji od In Flames...A novi Figure No 5 iako nije najbolji,sjajan je,korak dalje za Soilwork... Simadin Posted August 4, 2003 Report post Posted August 4, 2003 Bad news (kao po obichaju): After playing in Soilwork for five years, our dear friend and drummer Henry Ranta has decided that he can no longer continue to play in Soilwork. There are no hard feelings between Henry and us in any way, and we will still remain amazing friends, he will always be a true Soilworker. We wish him all the best of luck with his decision and we're sure we'll cross paths again in the future! Here is Henry’s farewell letter to all you guys and gals explaining his decision: "I guess this is supposed to be a statement of why and when I decided to leave Soilwork, but since this is a well thought out decision (not an easy one though) I will try and keep away from the sentimental “Bullshit” and just focus on the hard facts. Combining my daytime job, rehearsing, recording and touring with Soilwork has basically worn me out. This didn’t really make a difference the first couple of years in Soilwork, but as time went on I started digging a black hole for myself. For the past two years I haven’t really found any joy playing, and with all the tours coming up this year I felt that it was time for me to leave. Playing in Soilwork has been my life 24/7 for five years now, and at one point last year, I started to open my eyes to a lot of things that has been neglecting, just because I had been to concentrated on one thing only. Basically I’m gonna start investing more time in things that are making me happy right now. Ill take a peek at the other side, and I’m pretty sure that I'll enjoy what I'll find But you’re not gonna get rid of me yet though. It’s not like I’m gonna stop playing drums. You will still hear me fucking shit up in The Defaced and other projects. A really big thanks to all Soilwork fans for amazing support throughout years – Love ya all! Finally I would like to say a big fucking "hell yeah" to the band for five beautiful years of insanity." Inace primetih da Soilwork i nije nesto preterano popularan kod domacih metalaca. Prvo (ako je to neko merilo) ovde na forumu svega dve strane na temi koja je otvorena pre dve godine, drugo u kst-u u retkim momentima kada puste Soilwork svi redom se najgadnije smore... nista mi nije jasno. Moram priznati da nisam čuo ostatak svirke ali ne uspevam da skapiram, kakve oni imaju veze sa Death-om Grindom i tome sličnim ekstremnim varijantama muzike? Ove dve stvari su vrlo pitke. Povukli su odatle, ako ne oni, a ono njihovi uzori. Tako da na kraju ostade legitiman pravac pod imenom Melodic Death Metal. I meni je na pocetku bilo malo nejasno po cemu je to In Flames death metal, pa makar i melodicni, ali ajd ... prihvatili smo taj pojam ...
