Personally I take more pride in what I have done than I do in merely existing. Jeste, u pitanju je totalno drugaciji zvuk nego na prethodnim albumima, nema vise tog nabudzenog, ultra-dramaticnog zvuka, vec je vise zastupljen stripped down pristup muzici i produciranju! Ima dosta mirnih i tihih delova, sto album cini pomalo psihodelicnim! Pesme su odlicne, razumem da neko preferira raniju eru, ali meni ovo zvuco mnogo zrelije! Ne deluje mi nimalo slicno LZ-u i DP-u... Video sam da ljudi blate Road Salt (pesmu) kao komercijalu i prodavanje, ali ta pesma ne samo da je najbolja na albumu, vec je apsolutno remek delo! Za 20ak godina ova pesma bi trebalo da dostigne status legendarnih balada poput Soldier Of Fortune i When A Blind Man Cries! Angelystor Posted August 25, 2010 Report post Posted August 25, 2010 Drago mi je sto nisam popljuvao album pre mesec-dva, kad ga vec obrtah, posto mi tad maltene nikako nije legao, a evo danas, dodje mi da ga pustim, tragah za necim "mirnijim" nakon extremnijeg jutra...i album mi mnogo lepo legao, toliko da trenutno cenim da je ovo jedno sasvim dobro izdanje. PanicAttack Posted October 3, 2010 Report post Posted October 3, 2010 (edited) Ocekivana lista : Of Two Beginnings Ending Theme People Passing By Linoleum No Way Road Salt Kingdom of Loss Winning a War Ashes Used Diffidentia Falling The Perfect Element Ono što je uvek faciniralo,imajući u vidu neke pesme sa ove odlilčne liste,jeste činjenica da je Daniel Gildenlow a mislim sa njim i čitav Pain Of Salvation ali prvenstveno on kao muzičar,pesme kao People Passing By ili Winning a War napisao kada je imao svega 23 godine.To je je iz ove perspektive vrlo fascinanto na način na koje su pjesme otpjevane,aranžirane i sve ostalo,što dovoljno govori o Danielovom talentu.Mada i generalno je taj period stvaranja muzike kao i svake umjetnosti najbolji u periodu od 20 do 35 godine,posle toga pada motivacija i energija za neka jača ostvarenja. ^ vidimo se kod standa s majicama.
