Angelystor Posted July 25, 2006 Report post Posted July 25, 2006 DISSECTION's record label, The End Records, has confirmed that the band has cancelled its two previously announced appearances in North America (Sept. 1 at the House of Blues in West Hollywood, CA and Sept. 6 at B.B. King Blues Club in New York City). According to The End, DISSECTION vocalist/guitarist Jon Nödtveidt has been denied legal entry into the United States as a result of his 1998 conviction in Sweden for helping to murder a 38-year old man in Gothenburg. Commented Nödtveidt: "We knew from the beginning that there was a risk that I might be denied entry into the U.S. because of my past but we (the band and the agencies involved) were prepared to take that risk. It's very unfortunate for everybody involved the fans, the band and its representatives as well as the promoters. I have served my time and we were really looking forward to these final gigs. Kada sam prochitao detalje samoubistva(svece, knjiga, poruka) i sastav poruke, to zaljenje je polako otishlo. A kada sam prochitao komentare tipa "Mozda je konachno chuo Reinkaos" smejao sam se... Ne idu meni takvi likovi jednostavno u glavu. Chitao sam i neki stariji intervjuu sa njim gde navodi da satanista treba da se ubije dok je mlad i pri punoj snazi i da nema poente ziveti slabiji od drugih..nesto u tom fazonu naci cu bas to, na blabberu videh. I svidela su mi se cak neka njegova razmishljanja, mislim da sam u Butcherianu prochitao taj intervju.. Ne znam, ja ne razmisljam tako, ali evo recimo ovako mlad idem po gradu i vidjam starce i starice kako se jedva pomeraju i kako se otezu po trotoaru i po busevima...ne bih voleo da i ja jednom budem takav, ima u tome neke poente. Ne treba ziveti po svaku cenu ako to znaci samo da bi bio ziv. Shvatam coveka. Nisam satanista, ne podrzavam satanizam, ali kazem, jeste brutalna malo ta filozofija 'umri mlad' ali u nekim slucajevima to je ok. Ako je vec promenio muziku i celu postavu, mogao je onda lepo i ime benda da promeni, kad vec sa starim Dissectionom nema nikakve veze. Dissection mi je omiljeni bend i slusam ga jako dugo.
