Grobodan Posted March 22, 2011 Report post Posted March 22, 2011 To što si rekao za svežinu Symbolica može da se primeni na svaki Death album, i to je još jedna od veličina Chucka - dok se ogromna većina bendova valja u povođenju za trendovima i aktuelnostima on je bio vizionar i to ne jednom, već više puta - sa SBG je doneo Death Metal na definitivni nivo i dao mu neki osnovni oblik a kasnije je udario osnove tehničkog pristupa u istom. Mita Posted March 22, 2011 Report post Posted March 22, 2011 Sad sam slušajući Symbolic shvatio zašto mi toliko prija ovih dana da vrtim kultne albume "Relive the gift of precious memories In need of a fix called innocence" I naravno: "A high that can never be bought or sold" A ovaj deo mi je jedan omiljenih stihova u metalu, ako ne i najbolji - tako jednostavno a tako predivno. Uopšte cela Death diskografija je bez ijedne mrlje i prikazuje tako fascinantno razvoj jednog genija da prosto ne mogu da nađem adekvatnu paralelu u muzici. Što bi rekli jednostavno - to majka više ne rađa. Kad se i posle 15 godina aktivnog slušanja iznova i iznova oduševljavam...mislim da ću slušati Death dok sam živ sa istim uživanjem. pusi ga Grobe morao sam sad da pustim Simbolik ali ovo sto si rekao je suva istina!!! Lunar Posted March 22, 2011 Report post Posted March 22, 2011 Ajde kada ste se vec latili Symbolica, meni onih poslednjih 2 minuta na Perinninial Quest, zvuci tolko emotivno, tolko napredno, tolko vizionarski da je to neverovatno. To je ono kao kada osecas da svaka odsvirana nota prica pricu za sebe, i mozes da osetis umetnika kroz nju. Isto tako za onaj Voice of the Soul, ja osetim tolku tugu kada slusam tu pesmu i tako mi zao Chucka. Sa humanom su poceli da ubacuju tehnikalije, i poceli da dokazuju svoje umece, i jos jednom gurnuli zanr napred. Sa Symbolicom su dokazali da death metal moze bit icisto isproduciran i sa ponekim catchy delovima a ponovo da bude vrhunsko delo, naci jos jednom gurnuli napred. I na kraju sa Sound of Perservance su odsvirali takav progressive death metal, sa takvom poetikom od lyrics i prepunim emocijama gde je Chuck iznapredovao maksimalno i gurno muziku Deatha jos dalje. In The Flesh Posted March 22, 2011 Report post Posted March 22, 2011 Meni je najbolji The Sound of Perserverance. Baš sam juče pustio Symbolic poslije sigurno 8-9 godina. To je i prvi album koji sam čuo,ali kad je stigao Sound...ne znam,sve ono što mi je falilo kod Symbolic-a (a stvarno nema puno toga),na ovom albumu se našlo. The LP was entirely remixed by longtime DEATH producer Jim Morris and remastered by Alan Douches (MASTODON, CONVERGE, MISFITS). This special 20th-anniversary edition of the album will come complete with expanded packaging featuring liner notes from Morris as well as former DEATH/current CYNIC guitarist Paul Masvidal and over an hour of newly unearthed, previously unreleased early demo tracks. "Human" will be available on two- and three-disc sets as well as digitally. Commented Morris (pictured below): "[This was] an awesome experience for me." He added, "We were contacted by Chuck Schuldiner's intellectual property lawyer, Eric Greif, the former manager of DEATH." Added Eric Greif: "The former DEATH guys Paul Masvidal (guitar), Sean Reinert (drums) and Steve DiGiorgio (bass) are all 'ecstatic' about the prospect of a heavier mix, where all the instruments can be heard and modern technology utilized. Jim said he took into account everything he and Chuck agreed upon during the making of 'Symbolic' (1995) and 'The Sound Of Perseverance' (1998) as his guide for what he believed Chuck would want from such a remix. Sve u vezi ove pesme je savrseno - tekst je genijalan, dubok, pokazuje kako je Chuck bio pravi genije, mislilac, filozof, sto je retkost i danas videti u industriji. Perenijalna fiozofija je i inace jedna od mojih interesovanja, tako da ova pesma mi dodje kao neka vrsta himne. Steta, da ponovim po stoti put, sto je otisao tako rano - ne mogu ni da zamislim kako bi dobru muziku i dalje stvarao.
